ROCK LADY! 🤘🔥I DIDN'T know that this was the last episode going in, lmaooo My level of busyness has been pretty wild over the past weekend. I need suggestions on the next music anime that should be up for the vote! Please and thank you. All my thoughts on the episode and series in general is @ the end of the episode. Bad ass last ep!

Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad is really good. It has a live action movie too I think.

Jet Man

10 out of 10 boy band berating.

Jet Man

Ya Boi Kongming is the one you were thinking of.

Forest of Piano. It's admittedly been years since I've seen it but I remember really enjoying it when it came out.

David Butt

Given is a pretty good so I'll suggest that one.

Probably not gonna happen, but the movie Blue Giant 155 minutes long with an OST by Hiromi Uehara the No.1 living jazz pianist.

Baka

Nodame Cantabile maybe? Lighthearted and chaotic classical music romance comedy, and no one is terminally ill, lol.

Lora

On-Gaku: Our Sound I wouldn't normally recommend a movie but its only 1 hr 11 min and it's a work art.

Mouse

“Those Snow White notes”, the shamisen is an interesting instrument we don’t get a lot of exposure to in western media

Brian Brennan

Well, the only music adjacent anime I can think of right now is Angel Beats. Being 100% honest, I don't think you'll like any of the characters, but it has some interesting concepts surrounding death and regrets after life. Won't say too much more in case you end up watching it. The anime isn't really about music at all, despite the name. It's more about death and the afterlife. There are some scenes of characters playing music, but it's not the focus. It's a bit old, and therefore suffers from older anime troupes, but if you can look past that, it has a compelling story.

Alamun

Kono Oto Tomare! It features a high school club about playing the Japanese Harp.

I know Tony has talked about why movies are hard to do so I have no expectations but Blue Giant would go hard.

Esthefano Sebastián

I love NANA, but I've only read the manga, so take this recommendation with a grain of salt

Anorus

Zombieland Saga is another silly music adjacent one which needs to happen at some point

Snappy Jacklin

So what’s your favorite? This or bocchi?😅 for me it’s this! all the way and it’s not close the intensity is just so amazing
