OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGY'all said it was amazing, and it most definitely was 💯LOL I cant get over how epic these fights are. It's like a breath of fresh air to have these different types of attacks being used as our range / melee / magic / undead vampire $hit Just 11/10 type of display. All that being said it was so impactful the moment they reached 'that room'... the dialogue... sheeesh! SAD STUFF!!!!

Fun fact they actually created a software tool so the animators wouldn't have to draw every link of the chain frame by frame for those really intricate scenes, they just needed to animate the movement of the chain itself. Can only imagine the nightmare it would be if they didn't have that.

I think instead of choppy the word you're looking for is snappy with how they snap from movement to movement. It's a style of animation to give a little bit more weight and impact to action and fights!

On first watch, I got fairly emotional when Dracula entered his son's bedroom. The gravity of what he was doing sunk in. He loved his wife and their son was the greatest thing the two of them created. He would destroy the last part of her that lingered in the world in blind rage.

This fight is even crazier when you remember back a few episodes they mention Dracula hadn't been feeding for some time. Meaning he's not even near full strength here and he is still beating their asses.

I think the most amazing animated fight on the Patreon IMO has to be Yuji vs Choso in the bathroom JJK season 2. The cinematography and art style sent that fight to another level, not to mention stellar animation. But that said, what this fight has is top fucking notch choreography. It’s so creative. You can tell every time they’re thinking. “How can we make them fight even cooler than last time.” Best fight? Probably not. Most enjoyable fight? It’s up there.

I do like the fight(s) here in Castlevania, but where I think it lacks is a truly epic soundtrack, which really enhances a show. Shows like AoT, JJK, Sword Art Online, Code Geass, Fate Zero... All have amazing soundtracks and the fights are better for it.

I fucking love this show. Who takes the poster child of a series and says “yeah, we only need him for half the story?” Lol I can’t wait for you to see the new paths this show takes, both with the next two seasons and the sequel show that comes after this one.
