This is the best episode of the series so far IMO.Loved seeing the story POV flip + all that came with it. Honestly, Ghostblade character is super sad, but they did a great job weaving so many components into a good story. Very curious to see how far his segment goes.

Ghostblade is my 2nd favorite hero behind Lin Ling (almost a tie tbh). As someone with autism (been heavily implied that’s what GB has too) I relate so much to him. Some people were annoyed with his character not being able to express himself but since I go through the same stuff I found it interesting. Also, he’s super cool 😎 (got a Ghostblade keychain on my backpack right now lol. Got it at a TBHX pop up shop in Japan recently)

Some things you might have missed, Tony. Ghost Blade mentions having his lips forcefully sealed by his believers. People always viewed him as calm, cool, and silent. So like Firm Man and his inability to bend his knees, Ghost Blade lost his ability to speak. His wife mentions getting rid of things that were forcefully given and casting aside his hero persona. It is a bit if a double entendre.

I have to say, I really enjoyed this reaction and analysis. It's been a lot of fun following the story with you. Keep up the good work! The path of the heroes are crossing 😁

Man, literally being unable to speak because your believers view you as a "silent assassin" is brutal. Ghostblade is such an interesting character though.

Jet Man

If it seems like a fun idea, when you reach the season's end, you could rank your 10 favorite characters. Possibly even do it the same time as the character profile shorts on YouTube.

I might be wrong on this but i thought the social media bit was about strangers taking photos of him and uploading them without his knowledge.

Yeah, you’re right. Basically he attracted people because of his good looks and silent personality. FOMO (one of the big agencies specializing in social media) is where his admirers started posting.

PartyCat

Not sure if its still active but Bilibili had a poll where fans could do this and it was supposed to have impact on the next season.

Damm, we got a back story for the dads that get the milk 🤣

Yeah this is probably my favourite or second favourite episode of the show. I kinda took that breakup scene as his ex wanting him to quit being a Hero so he could actually talk to his daughter. His ex recognised it probably wouldn’t be healthy to have two parents that are quiet and never speak all the time so she changed and wanted him to as well. I like the nuance to it despite me and I’m sure everyone sympathising with Ghostblade more.

Frizen

Bro is so cool he literally can't speak to his own daughter, talk about suffering from success lol

Red Menace

i don't know about in china, but at least in the states, when you slaughter a pig you get a bolt "gun" and it ends its life in 1 split second by punching through the skull into the brain, pretty much painless if done right because it stops the brain, thus no pain.

Red Menace

same, luckily i live with a family that kinda understood it, and took me to therapy so i was able to kinda learn how to fake it lol
