Well, ok... we are starting the week with some immensely sad and psychological beatdownsSheeeeeeeeeesh. Damn, this Anime goes in deep with the holy F factor. For my anime journey, so far, this is the darkest ep I have seen. The trap laid for that child was on another level. All my thoughts at the end of the ep.

Man my mental health was not ready for this episode. I totally forgot this is where we were at and I had to stop a few times, breathe and then push on. One of my favorite episodes of any show ever but boy I blindsided myself.

Pushing a kid to the depths of despair before giving them a reason to end their own life. Makes Johan seem like some sort of monster.

Grimmer is such a beautifully written character. Despite Kinderheim 511 taking his emotions, he still has such a deep empathy for others’ pain. Even in his first episode where he gives money to pay the dude’s “medical bills.” He knows he’s being scammed, yet he understands that behavior likely comes from a source of pain and suffering.
