This episode is my favorite TBHX episode and the most interesting in terms of how the story progresses. Everything that happened in the previous arcs comes together and merges in this episode. Many questions you've been asking yourself will be answered in the next episodes..

Jet Man

In regards to the golden light ability, in the fight between Queen and the super strong female hero with the 🪓 weapon, we learn her ability involves setting rules in an area/place. Hence she makes everyone stop moving.

Coping McCoperson

As far as Queen and Cyan being en route to this it has come full circle to the end of the Queen arc when they were driving through the desert when a giant monster(big johnny) appeared.

SLF needs more love

You are right that they did cover up what actually happened in the ruins. Queens power is that she make spaces that she can dictate the rules in them. About the change in graphics it's a power of 1 of the heroes, you will see.

Jack Allen

Fun fact at 23:09 (Patreon time) you can see a very young Lin Ling who of course pretended to be Nice in the first ep. As for the clone guy who fought Loli. That is Phobiaclone who was formally Vortex’s rival (X from Little Johnney arc). Vortex and Phobiaclone were sent to help save the plane that Cyan crashed in but due to their rivalry wouldn’t stop fighting causing the plane to crash and both of them to perish. Shand after the fact used fear to turn Phobiaclone to what we saw in this ep.

Lichrin69

I love Queen. She's great and capable of stopping multiple heroes. She still lost to X in less than a SECOND!!!!!

Cobra Chaos 628

This is the episode that truly cemented this anime as a contender for anime of the year. In addition, it's where I regretted not listening to my friends suggesting the anime as it was airing lol

Lichrin69

Queen is basically a dungeon master while inside the golden glowing sphere 🤣

The golden effects that was used by Queen is her power set where she sets a rule inside the field and is able to influence her surroundings to her will. Her favorite go to move is to freeze everything inside including people and inmate objects which not only stopped the fights that was going on but also gave Cyan enough time to locate Little Johnny and Ghostblade before they were buried. She also used her power to lift up all the rocks by reversing gravity in that field so Cyan can get to the injured parties. But once Cyan gave Queen the go ahead she deactivated her powers and everything went back to normal that is why everyone was able to move including all the rock that was about to fall down on everyone that was in that cave. However Cyan protected Little Johnny and Ghostblade with her power by drawing that green circle in which her luck powers were amplified where none of the rocks could fall on them and that is why you saw them disintegrated upon hitting the green field that she drew around them

The CGI change was kinda answered at the end of the episode which I found kinda funny since you snapped with it 🤣

There were a few characters shown at the end that you haven't seen yet so don't worry too much about being confused with them. All of these characters were shown in their PVs but they're just now being introduced in the show. You still haven't really been shown what's behind the animation switches yet. Again, people who had seen the PVs could probably put it together by this episode but otherwise you're still waiting on that to be fully shown. And yeah you were right that basically everything that just happened at the ruins are being covered up because the 2 guys we saw talking said they could use their media control to manipulate the info as long as they could kill the professor (Loli's dad).

Really? That is super interesting. Variety is the spice of life. For me, its 100% the other way around. This has honestly been sorta a chore to watch, FOR ME. I get that a lot of people love it. That is cool. Anime of the year, I just think Orb. But multiple opinions on what is "great" is fun to think about. haha. I am curious to see how all this plays out.

Here is a summary for you Tony. The commission wants to investigate the ship because the alien metal can suppress trust and fear. They don't want anyone to ever gain as much power as Zero. Rocks father created Zero, and Zero was the first hero. He had so much trust value from the entire world that it turned him into a god. He killed someone and all of the people trust turned into fear. He became a supervillain The companies rely on heroes for them to stay in power so it turns into a giant clusterfuck. Shand de (red suit) sent Nice to try and killed Loli's dad since he uses fear to power up his heroes. He also sends the Clone guy (possibly former #2 hero Phobiaclone mentioned in episode 17) as backup. Rock wants to revive Zero so he sends GhostBlade to kill the Johnnies because of their relation to fear/trust suppression. He also sent new E-Soul to kill Ghostblade to tie up loose ends. Mickey is sending Queen and Cyan to stop it all and take credit for saving the day, while trying to pin the blame on Rock. Results: Luo Tong( Loli dad) the most knowledgeable researcher on fear/trust is killed. Loli's friend is also killed. Loli officially becomes a hero. Likely aiming for revenge. Nuonuo(Ghostblade daughter) put into a coma. Ghostblade resigns from MG as Mickey and Shande successfully pin the events on Rock and MG. Shande uses the media to portray Nice as a hero who stepped in and defeated the clones. Queen and Cyan take credit for resolving the crisis. Essentially everyone boosted their reputations besides Rock and the research on fear/trust suppression was disrupted.

Also to answer another of your questions. Queen and Cyan were heading out there after being sent by Mickey at the end of episode 12. They saw Big Johnny burst out of the ground while they were driving through the desert.

I love gay girls

I think the reason as to why it feels like a chore for you to watch might be because its hard for you to keep track of what's happening. For example something that was shown to us in episode 12 that we didnt understand yet as a viewer would be explained 8 episodes later, and since you watch 2 episodes a week remembering that is difficult especially since you watch so many shows at once. I finished watching the entire show in like 5 days so when i watched new episodes i still remembered details from eariler episodes .

Cobra Chaos 628

Orb was good too! I don’t think tbh x is necessarily the best, but it is up there. My faves of all year are between Ave Mujica, Orb, Takopii’s Original Sin, and Chain Saw Man Reze Arc

Jack Allen

It’s confirmed on the wiki it is Phobiaclone

drumrolltonyreacts

@Cobra. Mabye. Maybe it's just the show and its design tho! Everything else I watch is 2 per week or less (excluding tier 3) For me there are far too many characters that have moments and then we introduce other characters and we forget about the past characters for awhile. Like I was hooked with the first chunk with how Nice came about... but then we just ditched it and moved onto other stuff. If I have to wait 8 episodes to see or learn something, that is some massive expectations for the audience to care that much later. Dunno, its a design thing for me and I'm likely not the target audience at all. I do understand tho that some folks love shows that are not linear and have lots of little nitty gritty stuff to keep track of. I am just not that person

Cobra Chaos 628

Completely valid. I do agree that the first arc was one of the best ones. But I love how everything ties together and all the secrets you can find on a second or third watch. We all have different tastes though and that is fine!

Red Menace

god damn, its 330 in the morning man, i cant stop watching, the story is so compelling

Red Menace

lol, god damn, even watching all the shows up to this point over 3 days, i STILL had to reread your comment multiple times and reference it to understand it, oh the twisted tale this story is. Although to be fair it was clear by last ep that the giant corpos that built their power and wealth on a system that this research is threatening to diminish/undo would do everything in their power to stop/disrupt/destroy it lol. i just struggled with all the nitty gritty, so thanks for the rundown.

Red Menace

tony keeps calling it a batsuit, but i feel like its more of a iron man suit

Red Menace

lol i was looking for this, after his reaction to fate zero i was thinking that complex shows like this with many moving parts that hide things are not really tony's style, he, as far as i can tell, seems to like over the top, simpler(which is more of a style thing, not a bad thing) shows, especially in comedy, or at least super linear. still, i personally love this sort of thing, but i do agree that its starting to drag in the later half, like, we don't need another sad backstory, lets get the plot and world building moving again.
