If we’re on the based old ass anime train I CANNOT recommend Gunsmith Cats enough. It’s only 3 episodes but it’s peak 90’s anime. Hot women, cars, guns, and hating the ATF

I had never heard of this before and finished watching the first episode. I think it could be a lot of fun. Keep it in mind when episode 5 or 6 rolls around. It's got a nice jazzy soundtrack.

Time for more Japanese Folklore! Kintaro Oe is named after Kintarō, a Japanese folk hero from the region around Mount Oe. His name translates to 'Golden Boy' and there's a holiday in Japan called 'Boy's Day' and it's traditional to place little Kintaro dolls around the place. A chubby child of supernatural strength, he wears a red bib with the word "Gold" on it, wields a massive axe and can speak with animals. He spends his time travelling the regions of Mount Oe helping local woodcutters and slaying monsters.
