I NEEDED this recap before starting Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 on Thursday! This was a lot of fun to watch because it brought up a lot of memories, but also clued me into quite a few aspects of the story that I just missed on the first watch of the previous seasons and movie. Honestly, I will prob watch the recap again. Massive 🤘props to the YouTube channel Gateway to Anime because that was well-scripted, edited, and educational. Seeing JJK art and overall animation style feels nostalgic to me because this was one of the earlier titles we did on Patreon for my anime journey. It is always gonna feel like 'home' if that makes sense. Looking forward to Thursday!

If it's any consolation, the Aniroll channel was what convinced me to join the Patreon. Though I'll need a few years to recoup you those thousands :P

(English 2nd Language) Considering your reaction to the last few seconds of this video, I'm not sure if you would want to watch this other video. It does have important information that you should know by now about many characters that you likely forgot, and it goes over information on the culling games that will go over your head because of how fast it is likely to be presented in the new season. But it is really good and important information. Basically, you will be watching season 3 like you watched season 2, where you're confused but still enjoying it. Or you can watch this video that Walt D linked, that includes information about season 3, so that you're not nearly as confused and get to enjoy it more.

Opening probably comes out on the day the episode does, they haven’t released any information on the Ed but it will also likely come out on Thursday or the week after

You might have to actually rewatch it lol. Since you dont remember so much

If it makes you feel any better. A lot of us had basically a book club, to talk about the new chapters when the manga was still coming out. I watched 'AnimeBallsDeep' to compare my understanding vs there understanding 😂 things are gonna get a little complicated

zeldoor

that would take far too long lol

Man do I miss those sorts of days.

You're so right about names, it was ridiculois for me when I was getting into JJK. Geto and Gojo. Gojo against... Jogo. Nanami and Hanami. Don't forget about Nobara and a small side character Naibara. Star Vessel Riko, Yuta's friend Rika, sorceress Yuki. Yuta, Yuji, principal Yaga. Maki, Miwa, Mai, Mei Mei. Admitedly easier to distinguish In conclusion, it's crazy xD

I think this left out a lot of details like, for example, it doesn't say anything about Itadori's brothers except Choso in the season 1 finale, or the fact that Mechamaru worked with Kenjaku (the spirit controlling Geto's Body) to get his body back. A lot of details were missed. But for a video of that duration, it was done well. I just wanted to point out that it did miss some details. I hope the other video somebody linked to explains a bit more.
