If you didn’t know this is actually one of Yorushika’s older pieces that was released recently with a MV after 6 years. Back then they were much more heavy into pop-rock and is relatively different from their current music like what you heard in Orb and Frieren, for example. Recently, they explore more jazz influences in their pieces.

Don’t get me wrong, I love everything Yorushika, but when I saw the notification for Tony reacting to them again, I was hoping it would be one of their newer pieces. As the comment above me said, this is a song from 2019-ish that they decided to make an MV for (love that they did that btw). 2024 to current date is my personal favorite era of Yorushika yet. “Rubato,” “Aporia,” “Snake,” “Martian,” “Play sick,” and ESPECIALLY “Shura” are some of my favorite pieces of music period. Thanks for the reaction and breakdown! Looking forward to more Yorushika in the coming years :)

Sam

Shura and Play Sick are both bangers. Pretty sure he’s done a reaction to Aporia since it’s the Orb ED

It's super interesting looking back at these older yorushika songs. you're literally seeing how n-buna is developing as an artist. this song was from the era where their instrumentals were super busy, while a lot of their newer music has mellowed out a bit while still staying interesting.

Would absolutely love it if he would react and analyze Play sick! I haven’t seen anyone react to it yet and it’s definitely one of my favorite new Yorushika songs. It would also be fun if he reacted to their radwimps tribe.

Kyria

icl i would have loved to request play sick more than this one, but its so new that i couldn't request it after it came out. i kinda requested this one right after it came out haha

Jarrod Davies

I'd love for you to listen to both Radwimps' - "Darma Grand Prix", and compare to Yorushika's recent cover. Think it would make an interesting video!

Shine

yeah, I kinda have a feeling he would love "Martian" the most out of their recent songs (excluding Aporia and such since he already reacted to them) because of the crazy bass and clean drums

I love gay girls

This is the first song i have ever heard from yorushika like 7 years ago. Glad to see you reacting to it.
