Well, this was a pretty good episode. Slap bass track coming in with RHCP energy! The 5-day camp(s) were cool with their respective invitational differences... or lack of invitation, but I am glad we have come to an end in that bit of the story. Good words from coach eyebrows, gotta love it! LOL Goody2Shoes bro is out there... but mabye he gets a bit cooler. I have said this before about other characters and they got better.

“You can fly higher”. There’s a mistake in the translation. In Japanese, “to fly” and “to jump” has the same sound: TOBU, but the alphabet is distinct. Going back to the manga in Japanese and also context wise, is sounds more natural to think thatKageyama would say “you can JUMP higher” than “you can FLY higher”. Any doubts about the translation, wait for the next episode.

Idk if it was ever mentioned but apparently in Japan, when they got phones, it came with a fixed email adress customized for mobile usage that's what they use for texting. Things like SMS were not really a thing, you couldn't text phones with different carriers. That's why you see a lot of anime teens asking for email adresses instead of phone numbers, at least for older animes. Now I believe they just use LINE more, but that type of e-mail texting is still alive (I think)

I really like the scene with Kindaichi. Imagine playing with a team mate for years, and all you can do is but heads, never find a good middleground and eventually clash so bad that you basically can't play together anymore. Maybe you think he's all at fault, maybe you can see its both of you. But regardless, then he goes on to join another school, and within a month, he's completely different, syncing with his new team like he's never done while you were playing together. How can you not think: "Was I the problem?"
