Well, that was a fun episode. Quite the lore dump on those two, haha Mr. Freeze water bucket was hilarious Enjoyed seeing the backstory and I imagine more of that is coming

The A Pass joke was different in Japanese. I'm always in awe of the creativity of localizers that have to come up with new jokes that fit the situation when the original doesn't work outside of Japanese. The original joke was wordplay on the fact that in certain dialects of Japanese (honestly not sure if just one or several), the word for "good" sounds like the English letter "A" (when pronounced by a Japanese person). "A Pass... Good (sounds like 'A' again) pass!" It seems like a Japanese dad joke, which makes sense then that the localizers also went for a dad joke 😄

As a volleyball player (not at any major competitive level), there are certain techniques and strategies in this series that I'm willing to accept as fiction, like Hinata/Kageyama's monster quick (when Hinata had his eyes closed). But Sarukawa's strategy to keep the ball alive to tire out the setter is just so bad. It's like a Defensive Line deliberately not sacking the QB even when you have the chance just because you want to flush him out of the pocket since his completion percentage outside of the pocket is really low.

Have you really never told anyone about that back injury Tony? Not even the doc? I mean, if it caused lasting pain afterwards, it might come back to haunt you when you're older. I'd tell the doc if I were you. Sorry for the unprompted medical advice lol it's just that my mate is lawyer for veterans and he's always telling me how these old vets are going through hell with medical insurance lawsuits due to old injuries that never got properly assessed
