One thing I think isn't very clear is when Aiz asks how he gets so strong so quickly. This happens because Bell became an adventurer less than a month ago. The passage of time is a bit confusing, but basically very little time has passed, so it's really impressive how much he's already progressed. (The same can't be said about his social skills...)

Tuturu

Yep, "Liaris Freese" is basically a cheat for more XP as long as it has a goal (that's how I understood the skill)

Jet Man

You see, the reason the Minotaur killed the Soma guy at the end is because he missed his triple A meeting.

Skeletan

I'm guilty as hell for enjoying all that fanservice lmao it's plated so well though, surrounded by dungeon crawling, active leveling up, Greeek/Other Mythological beings, and fantastic music.

Just raising some little background settings and little fun facts that's interesting/good to know when watching Danmachi here. For this episode: 1) Hestia (the goddes) says she knows she can believe in Lili, not just only she knows what Bell did to save her, but also because she knows Lili wasn't lying to her. In Danmachi's world, mankind can't cheat on gods as a god can tell if someone is lying or hiding things from them. If Lili was not saying the things from the mean of her heart, Hestia (or any other god in that place) will sense it immediately. 2) Hestia originally was working for 1 part time job as selling fried potatoes (that's why we can see she brought a lot of fried potatoes if we look back in episode 1 - they were leftovers from the sales of the day). After she asked Hephaestus to make the knife for Bell (and the official name of that weapon is "Hestia Knife", written as goddess's knife in Japanese) - she also started to work in Hephaestus's Craftsman shop as a 2nd part time job to pay the bill (the end of episode 3). With these 2 part time jobs together, she only has 2 days off every month.😂 3) Aiz's favourite food is in fact no other than fried potatoes - with red bean cream. Amd becoz of that she has been one of the regulars of the food stall Hestia is working at. (This is sth outside of the main story so not animated, but is often mentioned in spin off short stories in the original light novel) 4) While Hestia definitely doesn't like Aiz because of the obvious reason in the story, the voice actors of Hestia (Inori Minase) and Aiz (Saori Oonishi) are actually well-known as best friends in real life. Both of them were having a good friendship with the voice actor of Bell (Yoshituku Matuoka) as well.

They barely mention it in this episode but Aiz only has a set number of days to train with Bell since her Familia (Loki Familia) is leaving for a major campaign in the dungeons soon. She's sneaking out early every day to train with him. It's not forbidden to train someone from another Familia but it is a bit unusual. Sword Oratoria's only season covers the same time frame as this season of Dan Machi so there is info in that anime that supplements or expands on things that occur in this one. I always forget what was covered in which anime until I'm watching it.
