I think Solo Leveling just had better promotion and the source material was already quite popular? Also the fact that it has real stakes; where there’s a real threat of death. Even if there’s no threat of death, we know NPCs are so realistic and they can’t respawn, so I wonder if they’ll use that to pull at our heartstrings later. That’s just what I think, but I agree that SLF is more fun in many ways. I’ve been wondering if this series is gonna be a long running one because the story is just so varied and full of stuff yet to be explored. In the KManga app the SLF manga has been at the #1 spot forever not even Witch Hat has knocked it down (tho the app is the worst manga app out there right now lol)

The Web Novel is at the 900 plus chapters the manga is at 270 chapters so there is a good chance that it would be a long running show. Season 3 for January 2027 which probably going to be 25 episodes like previous seasons.

I just noticed this time that Akane has the collar that Sunraku had at the first season. The one that half the XP but grant 2.5 to stat points when leveling up.
