Not sure how much you remember of RWBY music, (there was a request you covered earlier this year I believe), but the vocalist here is the same vocalist for almost all of RWBYs songs. Her name is Casey Lee Williams and she has been a featured lead vocalist for many projects since she was 13 years old. She formed this band in 2019, with fellow peers from Berklee, where she graduated with a degree in Professional Music in 2021. You also have listened to more of Ok Goodnight in previous streams, makes sense if you don't remember though, as it's been years 💀 but they would be a great band to hear more of 100% if time permits

They have 3 albums and playing around with weird time signatures are their bread and butter. They rock

I had already liked this band quite a bit. This was the one that made me fall in love with them. The part at 2:07 in particular. The part where you said it "returns tonally to its home base" as you put it. And has that credential resolution as it diminuendo's out. It hits for me. It hits hard. It hits in my core. Deep skin Goosebumps. It's hard to find the music that hits in just the right way. But that's what makes it special... The whole thing is a piece of art, but this was the moment I knew this band was moving up the list. I feel comfortable saying OK Goodnight is in my top 5 now. Purchased their 3 albums now and contemplating going to Las Vegas later this year when they perform.
