This was some wild stuff. I thought for a moment we were about to face another sad momentThen it went in its normal anime directionThe whole time I was getting thoughts about the distance we have travelled from wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back of Dio with the dog... to all the way here now. It's sort of a mind f to think of how far this has come.Especially with a 1 ep per week burn over the years

I am super curious about some of the comments in the previous reaction Talked about that a bit in this oneLooking forward to next weekGoogle Drive Link:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I2_Ont1xjDD2Hivr2zqQE0I1dCrp-DmI/view?usp=sharing

There's a bunch of bizarre anime out there; though there really isn't anything quite like JoJo. You can always feel a bit of an artist's essence through what they create, but I've always felt like JoJo is so uniquely representative of Araki himself. I mean, Hell, some episodes spend multiple minutes giving (essentially) wiki explanations about whatever cool facts or phenomena Araki was into at the time, and I can't really think of many other authors who would budget that kind of stuff into their narrative--and even less who would do it successfully. It's not quite the same (and you're already watching it), but Dorohedoro gave me a similar vibe when I first read it. It felt like a story so distinct to the person writing it, and it left me wondering what kind of experiences led the author to develop their particular set of creative lenses.

Everytime i see a helicopter in Jojo's I know its about to fucking crash xD Also yea emporio driving was such a normal thing that we wouldn't even think of it as anything weird atp HAHAHA

2026-09-06 23:00 I think a second place, or like the closest thing I've ever watched to Jojo would be Baki. It is genuinely so rediculous that while I was watching it, the only thing I could compare it to was Jojo lol and I've talked to some of my friends about it and they agree with it as well xD I hope one day you can give Baki a try and see for yourself, the thing I found similar in both of them was how they pull sht outta their ass in every fight lmao I think it would be a fun addition to the patreon someday too!

Nothing else can be fairly compared to JoJo imo. It has wackiness, knows when to take itself serious and when not to, some situations are non-intentionally funny and very unconventional powers used in very creative ways. Some shows have the archetypal: here's your super strong hulk type, the laser eyes guy, the flame thrower guy ( to be fair JoJo has some of those). But JoJo also has a dude that steals souls by gambling, one that ages up all people in the vicinity and one that can give you dementia!

Your comment about remembering the Stardust Crusaders right now is SO relatable, every time an episode ends I always think back on how far we've come. I literally think about Johnathan SO MUCH when we are so far into Jojo's, the grounded storyline of him literally just slaying vampires and wielding a sword and physically fighting himself lmao its crazy to think about. We are close to the end of this chapter and I'm honestly so excited and hoping you continue reminiscing on the show as a whole

I'd say Gintama is just as bizarre as JoJo's, and at times, even more bizarre. It also has a mix of extreme wackiness, comedy, and serious moments, but Gintama leans much more heavily into comedy for most of the series. It's actually the funniest anime I've seen, I'd say (the first few seasons have some boring episodes, though, but they just get better as the series goes on). The plots are pretty different too, since Gintama is more about a mix of samurai and space travel. Another one could be Baki, but although it's really bizarre too, Baki just has a different vibe to me. It's an anime about martial arts and fighting to become the strongest man in the world. The fights in this anime sometimes get so weird and goofy that they're almost comical, but interestingly enough, I wouldn't say this series has the same touch of comedy that JoJo's or Gintama have. Still, although I've only read Baki's manga, it was preeetty cool. Anyway, I'd say JoJo's and Gintama are tied as the two most bizarre anime I've seen.

Hey, Tony. The reason people were saying that Part 6 is where it starts being divisive starting with this episode is because sh*t does start hitting the fan real hard. They said it bit too early though. You'll see soon. As for Pucci, you'll see DIO's true power of what he wanted to attain and Pucci will be ascended.
