Yeah i agree on the whole Daphne Cassandra stuff being annoying, The argument couldve been an episode and a half if they adapted it completely from the novels so at least that didnt happen 😭

I think cheese is kind of inevitable to some degree when you want to have characters in extremely dire situations, but simultaneously don't want a major character getting offed every few episodes so you have only one left by the end or they have to keep adding new ones. It just comes down to how tolerable they can make the cheese. It probably would've been much more tolerable if they just let Cassandra realize the answer from her prophecy and save everyone and then them thank her after. The berating of the character over and over feels like we the viewer are being beaten over the head with it too. The show does well when it leans into the magic and gear mechanics, but I think looks worse when it doesn't explain those parts as well and spends that time repeating the same dialogue drama instead. Haruhime survived presumably from a goliath cloak she had on as it flies off her after she is shown alive. Meanwhile the gravity magic enhanced beheading is one of the best boss executions and was extremely satisfying.
