Jet Man

Reminded me of THAT moment in Code Geass.

Jet Man

Season 1 Episode 22. Stadium full of people and everyone dies because the Pink hair Princess loses control of herself.

I accidentally deleted my comment twice so I’ll just repost the explanation The shadow beast are a shadow group basically overseen by the top brass of the mafia. As a result, information on their operations would be limited and distributed accordingly. Based on the information, the troupe was able to extract from the auctioneer, it seems the top brass received a tip, and thus took precautions to protect the merchandise. What this tip was, and what they did to protect the merchandise is not explicitly clear The phone conversation itself was establishing and deducing specifics as best as possible: - the tip wasn’t a Judas - the information was not from a troupe member - The information was not explicit, as the response indicated they had no idea who was coming for them - They know who initiated the auction haul relocation and when (Owl) but not how If you want a purpose of that info, it’s to source their next move - which becomes drawing out the shadow beasts so they can get after the treasure

Regarding your question: As I understand it, they were arguing about who leaked the news that they were going to rob the safe—not who actually removed the items from it. Owl was the one who removed them, but he did so because they knew a robbery was going to take place. "Who gave Owl (or his boss) the information that the robbery was happening?" That was the discussion taking place before they talked about who had emptied the safe.

That scene was so tragic. Traumatic.

I know you mentioned being very hard for you to not have Thorkell on your mind when you hear his voice but it's definitely harder with this one. This is just his cousin lmao.

MrGambit

they already knew the merchandise was moved after torturing someone for the info, the discussion was about a possible snitch in the group, suspicion raised because of the timing everything occurred, it was like the mafia knew something was going to happen.

urabassun

Hey, I'm that guy! I agree, 2011 version is more graphical. But I love the vacuum's voice in the 1999 version, sounds more bratty
