Kurapika burying Uvoga at the end is such an underrated scene. It shows how humane and principled in his values even towards the enemies that killed his clan!

I like it very much because, Kurapika is actually starting to revenge his clan, which has been his sole focused, anger driven objetive so far. So, in my opinion, the 1999 version captures that better, as a dark moment where a dark objetive has started to be concluded. In the 2011 version, just feels more like a awesome fight and all.

Well Special K's abilitys are overpowered, just only against the Phantom Troupe tho lol. Also the way I entrepet his "Emporor's Time" Is, that he can use the nen techniques as if he has the potential to master the technique, but only the potential. Meaning that he can still improve in his Scarlet-Eye-Mode and become even stronger with enough practise! Loved the episode ♥️

A memory from 10 years ago. I came home one day to my roommate as he was watching anime on his laptop in the kitchen. It was of this episode where these two characters were facing off in the wasteland. I had little to no prior knowledge of the series and my roommate had somehow never been familiar with anime as a medium. (That doesn't necessarily mean I remember any details on the specialist comment. A lucky, educated guess on that. This is a first time watch for me.) All I saw on screen was the wrapped up chain and then the finishing blow. And he turns to me, hand on his chin, and simply says, "I love this show so much."

Sorry for the third comment Tony but also something very interesting to talk about what has been talked about in this episode. I love Endless Quest's power creep. We started with character who are naturally gifted or just through training like Gon's powerful nose and ears, Killua's body manipulation, Hanzo (the ninja/one punch man guy) physical skills through ninja training. Now, Nen is the main stuff. Regarding conditions of nen (this is 100% spoiler free don't worry) I think its just awesome. It's like "I wanna be able to off people by just looking at them, but it has to be at 8pm, on saturdays, must be raining, the month we are in must have the letter M on it and I have to be bare feet. If I don't follow this rule, I die". And I agree with you, specialist K could get rid of Gon and Killua. Try to check the 1999 version that I linked when you can. Its like a really dark moment for Kurapika, where he is almost like succumbing to his dark objetive, he is hurting someone, killing someone he hates so, 1999 version brings that out more than 2011. Both are just awesome!

Ok , I have this option (as a viewer) on both Desktop and Mobile. I have them turned off in both locations and they have never been on or me. It sounds like maybe you need to select off so that it stays off. CC is a good thing for media platforms, you just need to control if they are on or off.

Yeah kurapika is op lol, but specifically against the troupe, because of his condition killing him if he uses the chains on anyone else. I think he might still be able to like swing his chains as a basic attack on randos, but I don't think he's able to chain up and disable anyone else So he's really strong against like 12 people in the world

Kurapika is a very strong Nen user, for sure. But he's only really OP against the troupe. Emperor Time making him master all categories doesn't mean he's already a master, it just means he can learn other Nen Categories skills with 100% potential. Chain Jail was the true equalizer and the reason this fight was so one-sided. Without it, he would struggle or potentially lose. He was damaging him, sure, but not really causing serious damage to Uvogin. He can heal broken arms, but like any other Nen skill, they usually require stamina. It would be a very hard fight, Uvogin was a Master Enhancer with tons of experience, it wouldn't make sense for someone like Kurapika who just learnt Nen months ago to defeat him this easy without some hack abilities. It's something I like about HxH, it's still feels logical when someone is really strong. It's not just the author making someone really strong out of nowhere because the plot requires it. Kurapika is very determined to kill the Phantom Troupe while Gon is kinda trying to find his father and Killua is just tagging along. It makes sense why K is very ahead rn.

Only chain jail is specifically for phantom troupe. We saw him use the healing chain and judgment chain on himself and even his divination on the other nostrade bodyguards
