Not sure if you've made the connection yet, but I always assumed that the in-world currency of Jenny has a value similar to Japanese Yen, so Greed Island would be going for ~7B yen or ~$4-5M

Pawning is more or less taking a loan, using a valuable item as collateral, and also usually with a time limit like a month to repay the loan. So all he has to do is pay back the money he got (probably some interest too), and he can get his license back.

I like Gon being True Neutral, too. Remember when he first heard from Killua that he was an assassin? Gon didn't reject him or even flinch, he just accepted it as it is. He didn't stand on a moral high ground. He follows his own codes and acts on it. Very loyal and protective of his friends, for example. I believe that he has his own POV on morality and that's very interesting.
