Mannn, this anime is just fun to watch.Loving all aspects of DnD here, from going to the quest board to instant interaction with NPCsFeels like maybe we have a moment similar to Solo Leveling, with a possible trap quest of helping out this new party, but they also seemed pretty legit. Either way, it will be fun!

Some magic system trivia that's not really addressed in anime. In the new world magic is classified into tiers but in the game world it was levels. There are 10 tiers and Lvl 1-10 is tier 1, Lvl 11-20 is tier 2 ....Lvl 91-100 is tier 10. From what we have seen so far people in the new world find tier 3 magic powerful and anything above tier 5 is already considered god level. Whereas Ains and all the NPC'S are lvl 100 and obviously use magic to their level.

That is good info, thanks! I wonder why they have not explalined that

For the overlord anime adaptation there is unfortunately just a LOT of details (both small and large) about the world that just dont end up getting screentime. Its a shame but the community is usually good at filling in whatever might be missing for reactors

Jet Man

The punk at the table really looked at a guy a foot taller than him in full armor and said, "Yeah, I can be intimidating to this noob."

Bautista

And another small detail to add that was lightly mentioned is that EVERYONE in Ainz's group is non-human, even if they look very human. Also, almost all of them hate humans 😂

Anthony Cano

Currently in a DnD campaign as the parties Hobbit druid. So fun transforming into a dire wolf, chucking around cantrips and tier 3 storm spells, seducing half orc mercenaries, tavern brawls, good times. Getting into trouble with the partys dragon born paladin.

thats funny i think i was also 5th grade when i first tried d&d, but it was our cool science teacher who hosted the after school d&d club lol, school was NOT the same ever since that teacher moved away

Ladies and gentlemen, we got him 😂🎉 He's already telling DnD stories haha
