As the series is ending, here's some trivia for the game itself. The game YGDRASSIL ( based on the norse mythology ) was a type of game where only the controls were revealed and nothing else. The game had 9 worlds and they got harder to progress as you moved away from the center of the map. Each world was said to be the size of Tokyo. In game you can only build one character and each character has job classes and racial classes. First there are 3 main racial classes and then 700 sub racial classes. 1. Humanoid 2. Demi humans ( ogre, goblin etc ) 3. Heteromorphs ( demons, zombies, dragons etc ). You first pick a racial class then apply job classes ( there are over 2000 job classes). There are a total of 100 lvls that you can divide into both racial classes and job classes. Perks of the humanoid race is that there are no racial classes so you can you can split 100 lvls into only job classes. That's not true of other racial classes like demi human and heteromorphs. There is also player kill penalty if you kill a humanoid or demi human character but not for heteromorphs. Now heteromorphs get 3 skill points ( that you can add to your stars to make your spell stronger ) whereas Demi humans get 2 and humonids only get 1 as they level up. So heteromorphs are weak at low lvls but OP at higher lvls. Job classes ( warrior, mage, archer, necromancer etc..) also have base, high, rare and extra types. It was common in game to get 3-4 job classes all stacking so your character build can be as good as possible. With all this in mind now you can see the ainz character sheet which has his racial lvls and job lvls and how they are classified.

One of the interesting things about Ainz that the show never mentions is that his character was never built for PvP combat in the game, he built his character entirely on roleplay and so he has access to a shit ton of spells and while theyre extremely effective in this New World, in the game truly optimized people would wreck his shit no doubt. This is to say that, with Shalltear being a holy caster she really should be able to beat him with her arsenal because of the advantage in skills she has. Like the skill that negated his reality slash a few times as well as a resurrection item? She’s pretty damn strong so when the guardians were saying 3-7 odds they really meant that shit.

fun fact: the ability Ains used The Goal of All Life is Death just insta-kills everyone within a radius after the clock finishes ticking, killing shalltear and her clone and all her minions but she resurrected with the item

I love hearing Uesaka Sumire (Shalltear's VA) especially when she speaks Russian

AoiNeko

"Sharks Cyclone" - I'm guessing somebody watched Sharknado to come up with that spell.
