There were 2 separate people that were acting as Syr. Syr was a secret identity that the goddess Freya was using and when she couldn't act as Syr, her subordinate named Horn would act as Syr for her. Freya wants Bell and was hoping to get Bell to fall in love with the character Syr. Horn opposed this and told Freya that she wanted to kill Bell instead because she didn't think he was worthy of her goddess. So Freya made a bet with her that if Bell didn't figure out they were different people acting as Syr then she could kill him. We saw this bet made without all of the context a couple episodes ago. Horn failed so Freya then confessed to Bell as Syr but she was also rejected, so she said she is going to take him by force now. Hopefully this explanation wasn't too long and made sense.

Not sure what you're watching this on but your subs seemed pretty off for this ep. Not like inaccurate but super awkward. Felt like someone Google translated the ep and it made a lot of dialogue even more nonsensical than it was already supposed to be. Not a massive deal tho, its really not that deep, but the other comment explained everything pretty well, although the anime will explain more going forward as it was all meant to be quite vague at this point

Yeah thats strange then. None of the previous eps seemed this off, but I also probably wasnt paying much attention given the... nature of them so far lmao. Hopefully it's not too bad going forward but if you're interested in another source I could maybe provide one
