Ive been obsessed with this game. the story is so anime and so campy in all the right ways. not to mention the soundtrack being amazing as well. definitely one of my favorite games to release this year.

I recommend ''Times are Changing II''. AC8 is a good entry into the series. All the Ace Combat gamea are loosely connected so it's fine if jumping in new through AC8. AC7 for example is sequel to AC5 but even if you didn't play AC5, you will only mostly lose out on lore and some story beats. Also the games are all bonkers. Half way through it's a very different game from what you are expecting. It's very anime.

Ace Combat 8 has been such a fun time, as someone who's been a fan of the franchise for a while I'm really glad that it's as awesome as I hoped it would be. Obviously the soundtrack is a particularly important part of Ace Combat, and 8 does not disappoint in the slightest. A particular stand-out for me is The Star-Bound Bird, but Times are Changing II, like another comment said, is also great (as are most of them tbh)

If you’re opening this bag you gotta do Hortus Regis Alti. Altho this particular track might be a good one to save for last. Lot of call backs. The whole OST for this game is very well linked together with reoccurring themes.
