Hey everyone! I’d love to check in and hear how you’re enjoying Tier 1. Which of our current series are you tuning in for or is there something else you’d like to see?

HaruhiDream

Not watching any on Tier one. Mainly because I have either never heard of them or have not seen them.

Chrome

I recommend ''A Place Further than the Universe''. It's 13 episodes, about the Antarctica, the expedition, educational, and we get to be on an Icebreaker.

Chrisman

Iron Wok Jan is my pick for tier 1. It’s a pretty fun cooking anime.

Isaac Noël

Ippo is fucking cash, i'll cry if it goes!

drumrolltonyreacts

It's one of my favorites. I'm just getting the temperature on what people are feeling

Shawtty

Im watching KOT with you, mostly because I had originally started it by myself, but then life got busy and I unintentionally dropped it. Luckily you remind me every week (yet I still be falling behind 😅😅).

Isaac Noël

Great to hear! Ofc its your decision ultimately for whats on the channel, and im just happy to be here watching whatever ends up getting uploaded

brandon

Legit recommend Kono Oto Tomare. Top 10 of all time for me.

Magikarp

trying to catch up to hajime no ippo

m.k.

I'd recommend: Mushishi Outlaw Star March Comes in like a Lion

Alexander Chard

When was the last mecha we watched? Could add in Evangelion or one of the Gundams. The OG if you want something old or Gundam IBO if you want something newer that's self-contained. Gunbuster would be huge but it's got tits and female vocal performances from the 80s, so probably too much screaming for you. Space Battleship Yamato 2199 for a space battleship adventure is also good.

Joe

Would love to see Goodbye Lara just for the killer soundtrack alone. It's based on original The Little Mermaid story, but with quite a twist...

Avagado

I would say give "Sentenced to be a hero" a chance. You will know in the first episode whether you like it or not.

hihelloevery1

Great Pretender is a rly good one i would love to see in a future poll or something like that

romai

I don't know I just watch a couple episodes of each and then just stopped... right now HxH and Overlord have my full attention. I have been itching for a good mystery and looking at my list I have not seen "Baccano!", I hear it's really well rated and would like to recommend this.

mad ara

i would recommend made in abyss

Critz

Season 1 of The Promised Neverland is really good. Also “Parasyte- The Maxim”

Logan H

Great pretender is peak

Shawtty

IBO was the first anime I EVER watched. Me being extremely new to anime, season 2... 😭😭😭😭😭 lol my mental health wasnt ready

aidy

IPPO AND JOJO <33333

Stivens Salazar

Ranking of Kings Erased Heavenly Delusion (1 or 2 sensitive scenes but goated story) Parasyte: the Maxim Promised Neverland (only season 1)

RadzioxxD

Right now, the main anime I’m watching on your channel are Hajime no Ippo and Kono Oto Tomare! As for anime I’d like to see you check out, I’d suggest Detroit Metal City, Ranking of Kings, Medalist, and the film Inu-Oh

I believe that even though some anime wouldn't make it as a full run, that at least some good parts, arcs, or movies, should be examined. Especially anime that made a contribution to anime in some aspect. Trigger warning. For example, the writing in DragonBall Super as a series isn't all that creative in my opinion. But looking at the Broly Movie which was innovative for its time, would do justice. Or, with Bleach and Naruto Shippuden. If Tony didn't get through FMA Brotherhood, which was not commercialized, how would he get through a longer, more commercialized, and cartoonish Bleach and Naruto that drags from commercialization? By no means is Bleach or Naruto a Hunter Hunter or Vinland in quality or writing. However, Bleach and Naruto Shippuden have some nice arcs, parts, and characters, to examine and know. Like the Pain arc or the introduction of Madara Uchiha.

Walt D

Yes. Great example. Season 1 is amazing even if only seen by itself. Some anime are like that, where certain seasons, arcs, movies, or parts are better than a full run which would probably be rejected.

GardeninTool

Here for Ippo mainly, might have a look at Kono Oto Tomato. I want to put "Jaadugar - A Witch In Magnolia" on the list of tier 1 suggested anime, I think it'll be right up your alley.

Milkito_13

I can't recommend Land of the lustrous more.

Alexander Chard

All good choices. The ones I've seen on that list are great and the others are on my list to watch.

Kegs

I know the music ones kinda have the least votes, just to speak for myself ive seen probably 70% of the stuff you post here, music ones are the ones that i find myself remembering the most, the stories you tell and the way you break down the stuff that as a non music person i just glance by and focus on the characters it feels like im watching a guy watch HxH but like the guy actual can use nen IRL and ur breaking down the fights LOL

WarpFactor0

Every music anime you've watched I tend to sleep on until I eventually binge when you finish them. You have such a greater appreciation for those themes that hearing your explanations really helps me fall in love with the shows. Sound Euph is now a fav of mine and your anecdotes, and breakdowns bridged the gap. All that said, DnD tangent Tony is my all time favorite Tony. I hope both genres keep on going!
