Later that night, the fifth officer Harold Lowe, who was in lifeboat 14, called the boats close to his, lifeboats 4, 10, 12, and collapsible D, and transferred passengers from his lifeboat to collapsible D to get back to rescuing people from the water.

Sadly, he only came back with 4.

With the first morning light, they spotted collapsible A swamped with water. They rescued 13 people.
