Reports from the field 👉 Lagos 🇳🇬 (Patreon)

A small Precious Plastic team is currently in Lagos, Nigeria setting up a recycling workspace to tackle the plastic waste problem is west Africa and we thought we give you patrons some heads up.

Joseph (Managing Director), Yann (Head of Engineering) and Jonathan (Filmmaker) headed over to Lagos to run a very interesting project in the sense that this time instead of starting from zero, we're supporting an existing plastic recycler: Viktor BK.

Usually, one of the most difficult things when doing projects abroad is to find passionate people that are willing to undertake the ongoing learning necessary to become good at local recycling. This time we have Viktor who has been working with plastic for many years on his own. Time to boost his project 🚀

In Lagos, we brought a big Sheetpress with the ultimate goal of making school tables and chairs. Oh, and this time we have Jonathan with us recording the whole process, so expect a nice video coming out soon :)

With love,
Mattia
