Hey Patreons. Special update this week! You might have seen it in the news, many fires in Europe and Portugal due to the heatwave. This seems to become a bigger topic around the world. But now we are actually right in the middle of it on our land. Here we are the blue dot surrounded by fires. Yikes.

Many forest are burning down around us, helicopters and water planes flying over the land and worried people in the villages. Being here in the middle of it made us realise we don’t know too much about wild fires. How do they start, are they increasing, isn’t burning a natural thing, should we do something? So we made a special fire episode. Chasing up a few fires around us and talking with the fire department and a professor to understand more about it.
