Ever since launching the Precious Plastic Sheetpress we wanted to make a video about How to make a recycled sheet using the Sheetpress.

Took a while but finally managed to make it. Hopefully this is useful knowledge to the dozens workspaces that already popped up using the Sheetpress worldwide.

What you think? How do you make sheets? Let us know in the comments below!

Barbara Lee

Thank you for this more detailed view of how to make a sheet. I want a sheet press!!

Sean

What do you use to lubricate the aluminum sheets so they don't stick? Also what is the purpose of the cold press and why do you lay it flat afterwards and put stuff on it? What happens if you don't do that? Great video thanks!

The result looks good! This might be a great step on solving our plastic problems, especially for ocean plastic! ^v< b

eheh we should maybe rename the video "After this you'll want a sheetpress" 😂

Hey @sean here is the answer from our engineers: 1) silicon oil 2) purpose is to keep it under pressure while cooling so the outcome is flat, smooth and with no bubbles 3) so it doesn’t warp, since its still plastic, so it’s sensitive to temperature changes

And they are beautiful!! Really beautiful!!
