I love the new orr lore it really helps make the world feel interconnected. Also, this vanilla root is super cute.

Now we get introduced to the juicy parts 😉 I love how the old lore connects with the new systems in a very elegant way. And a damn pleasure to see that with just a little more experience, Fin could have easily turned the tables on Kara 🤣

It kinda feels like Kara is kind of dumber in this edition? Feel very anime like? Or cartoonish? Maybe Im misremembering but I feel like the first Kara was much more put together, this Kara gets flustered all the time, like a poor schemer, and the Hero is is doing a bit the while time it feels like Konosuba maybe? Kara is Aqua and Teuta is Darkness. I know it’s a publisher series so maybe that was the direction dictated. It just seems strange to see them act like this, not that I particularly mind just wondering if i’m going crazy and imagine things 🤯

The truth is that when I get these 'redo' series as pub tiers, and even when I do them myself I want to try to add something new or different to what I have. Part of it was playing into tropes that I knew would play well, but another part of it is just trying to have fun with it. Treating it a lot like an Omake. But you're correct.
