Alright fam, let’s chat. I’m officially in a slump. It’s been a long time coming. I’ve drawn about 450 pieces of Harry Potter fanart, and I’m just not finding the joy in it anymore. 

As a queer trans artist, I’ve found community, rebellion, and joy in this fandom despite JKR’s continued violence. There’s power in creating transformative work that allow these characters to be queer, touch butts, and be authentic in ways the source material never allowed.

That said, I am going to be stepping away from Harry Potter. I've been struggling to find the passion for HP art lately for a variety of reasons, ranging from burnout to feeling increasingly conflicted about raising visibility for HP in an increasingly conflicted world. I may write more about this in the future for those of you interested in a deeper conversation on the topic.

I may create one-off pieces from time to time should I find a fic particularly inspiring or have an idea that won’t leave me alone, but as a general rule, I won’t be taking Harry Potter prompts here or elsewhere, or consistently making any more Potter art. 

I know many of you began following my work for the Potter art, and if you choose to pause or cancel your subscription, I respect that choice. Even if taking a break from the fandom is the right decision for me, that doesn’t mean that decision is right for everyone. I know money is tight for everybody these days, and I am truly grateful for the support you’ve given me over the years.

However, I do hope you’ll choose to stick around, because I plan to continue making sexy art of diverse bodies being hot, doing magic and getting railed. I’ll be leaning more into the bookish space and focusing on romance novels, monster fucking, and even some SFW pieces (like the Fat Zodiac Godesses series I’ve been teasing for a year).
