Sunday WIPs (Patreon)

1. Can you guess the fandom? Hint: it's a new fandom for me to draw, but I've been a lifelong fan. My parents even went to a convention as an early date and we've dressed up as these characters a whole family. 

2. Heads are hard! This is a commission for an upcoming post-apocalyptic romance. 

3. - 7. It took me a while to get the anatomy right. I don't get to draw pregnant people very often and I always learn a lot when I find a new anatomy challenge. Line art - Flat colors (with a little shading bc I merged the layers by accident) - Flat colors with some purple shadow brushed in on a multiple layer in the left corner, and some blue light brushed in on add later in the right - Shading - Shading + DRAMATIC LIGHTING! I love any excuse to do dramatic magic. It's just scribbling with the inka brush. 

8. - 9. If you've ever wondered about the early stages of a book cover, here's the one I'm currently working on. I think we're learning toward the first but I made 13 different mockups. I'm looking forward to finishing this one.
