This was my first YCH (Your Character Here). It's pretty simple. I start a drawing and folks buy a copy with their characters. For fandom, I do only one per pairing unless there's a big difference (ie I'll do a Dramione and a Veela Dramione). It's efficient for artists because we can sell multiples of the same pose, and it's great for patrons because it's a less expensive way to get custom commissions.  Win-Win!

All the shading is just the default soft airbrush on 50% opacity.

The last two images are my secret for dramatic lighting. I love overlays! Insert it as the topmost layer and set the layer to screen. Play with the opacity till you like it and erase away any spots in weird places.

Tip: Rotate it till it's in the right place. I wanted the light coming from the top, so I just rotated it about 60 degrees. Try to use the uniform transformation (not freeform). Brokeh lights are wobbly circles, not wobbly ovals.
