Post Quake Update, 16 Jul 2026 (Patreon)

Hello everyone! I've been meaning to update you all for a while but I haven't been able to as for some reason the patreon phone app no longer allows me to make posts, it just keeps forever loading whenever I click the button to make a new post. Anyway!

I am doing much better! I moved in the end on this past saturday at 4am, arrived at my dad's around 10am, and have been unpacking since then. A couple days ago I managed to rearm my pc on an old desk and chair, and I got internet working(ish) a couple hours ago, but I still gotta do better cable management by properly mounting the ethernet cable on the wall (because my pc has no wi-fi chip, so it is cablebound).

I am okay and safe, so is my mom back home and she is being taken care of by friends and family. Mentally I am also doing much better, but I still get immediately jumpy whenever I feel any kind of vibration, like a heavy truck passing by. It will take time.

The main issue of living here at the new place is that power goes out at random at least once a day for four hours, and since I arrived I have been trying to find a store that sells ups or at the very least a voltage protector, because I fear it could eventually fry my pc. I have also resigned myself to buying a laptop and screenless drawing tablet that I will use exclusively to work, so I won't have to fear power outages erasing or corrupting files. I'm still looking for a good deal, but I am hopeful!

Tl;dr all is well, and I am almost back in working order after moving!
