Hi!

One thing I've been curious for a long time: how did you find my Patreon? Could you please spare a couple of seconds to reply this quick poll?

For me it was seeing artists on TikTok paint your models

SMS450

I searched on Etsy for pinup minis, your models were the best I was finding, so I joined to vote on polls!

CookieMonster 51

I found your karlach model on cults and purchased it immediately. I was instantly intrigued by the details in your models. The icing on the cake was the fact that I had many many options depending on my mood at the time of printing. When I found out you had a Patreon well it was over. Thanks for all your hard work you have a lifer here

Discord group for printers guild

I actually think I found it because I was on etsy looking for Velma files, and someone was selling yours without authorization. No artist listed so I had to image search the model.

Antti Mikko Autio

Kickstarter campaigns. I’m very active on KS for a wide variety of things, including 3D printable files. I think the first one of yours I noticed was the wonderful Lioness model that you have as your profile pic. You donated that to Solgood’s massive campaign. Since then, I’ve backed a couple of other campaigns that you sculpted and when I recognised a familiar style and name I decided to see what else you have worked on and found my way here.

MyMiniFactory and ArtStation

Saw your Karlach on Cults and came immediately to your Patreon

MeEarthPrime

Saw model on ebay and reverse image searched

Anthony Davies

Cults search and it was your Lana Kane figure that made me join - still one of my favourites.

Curtis Haley

I found an etsy store selling your prints.

Oh, wow, TikTok! I'd never thought of it before. Perhaps I should use it to post turn arounds of my models or other bits of video.

Torrida Minis
>>133604082

That's cool, especially considering I don't have an official presence on Etsy because they don't allow sellers from Brazil. I know piracy is rampant there, except for some of the people who sell physical copies of my models as merchants, and my biggest hope has always been to have people looking out for the actual maker of the models being sold by pirates.

SMS450
>>133604082

I’ve been careful to only order prints from sellers that specify they’re a licensed seller of your work!

Torrida Minis

Karlach is the most successful model I've ever made, and I did notice a big uptick on my Patreon count when she was released. I'm surprised by how many people Cults3D seems to reach, compared to the rest of my online presence.

Eldire Yrila

Discord, in people post figures of you painted their

Torrida Minis
>>133606299

I'm really glad you did that! It's impossible to beat piracy on Etsy, so all I hope for is that people who want to buy files from actual creators do just what you did :)

Torrida Minis
>>133608046

Oh, that's right, I'd forgotten about Kickstarter! My participation in there brought a lot of new patrons during the campaigns. I want to make more Kickstarter campaigns, but I still couldn't decide on the theme.

Torrida Minis

Nice, I wasn't expecting MyMiniFactory to bring so many people to my attention. I expected CGTrader to be more important than it.

Torrida Minis
>>133611888

That's awesome :D I particularly love Cults3D, and it's a big surprise to see it as the most important platform where my work is seen by other people.

Torrida Minis
>>133623720

I wasn't expecting Telegram as well, although I'm aware there are many groups aimed at sharing models there.

Torrida Minis
>>133628742

Nice, Etsy seems to be a big attractor too. I wish they weren't so strict about which countries can open a shop there, because I wanted to have my own official store there to at least give people an alternative to all the pirates.

ResinRenders
>>133604065

Check out how Monka Studio does his videos, a bit of blender magic and it’s a vibe

Torrida Minis
>>133604082

That's the best attitude in this case, for all creators, since pirates usually sell models from a bunch of different creators in just one place.

Torrida Minis
>>133604653

Yes, very NSFW friendly. The only one with a "Naughties" category and that doesn't make you hide your models somehow.

Torrida Minis
>>133641282

Cool! Discord is a place where I have little control, so it's interesting to see how people can find me even there.

Torrida Minis
>>133604065

Amazing! Thank you very, very much for sharing it. They have a lot of views in their videos, which is promising. I've always wanted to make videos of my models, but I didn't know where to actually post them. Perhaps I should try Tik Tok :)

Hesperax

I've been a supporter for so long, I'm not sure I remember. But I THINK I saw you on Facebook first.

I browsed there either to sample what people made or nab stuff that had been taken down for copyright reasons or the creators no longer being proud of it. A lot of wargame proxies for the former, and lewd stuff for the latter. Anything I liked and was still active I backed. I found creators like Artisan Guild and Titanforge that way too. Same as pirating games and shows then buying a hard copy if you enjoy it. Thangs has kind of replaced that as the sample site though these days for me. Its legit and less frustrating, plus then I don’t feel obligated to immediately subscribe and can just put it in my list to check later.

Wakle Skade

I found you on CGTrader after browsing for some other artists` models. I really liked your wide selection and fell in love with your high quality work.

absent

(This should of been multi vote for me lol) Cults3d, but also 3DPrinters Guild on Discord and Graphtreon. Your original Jessica Rabbit and Rick and Morty characters really caught my attention.

Zinabrio

I´m with you since the beggining. I really dont remember how I find you. I think I was searching for "super heroes models" and your wonder woman appeared on google.

Torrida Minis
>>133649726

Facebook is a platform I thought was dead, therefore I paid no attention to it, but it has some pretty active 3D printing groups there which I browse on a daily basis. I'm thinking about creating a page there too.

Torrida Minis
>>133700948

Yes, that was probably something like this, because early on when you showed up, my social presence was minimal, probably restricted only to CGTrader and Cults3D, and maybe Deviantart. I still remember you asked me if I could make a likeness sculpt of Viviane Araújo, and I still hold this idea for the right opportunity.

Torrida Minis
>>133658670

It's nice to know that CGTrader also serves as a platform to recommend other people's works. I only wish they had better options to display our gallery.

Torrida Minis
>>133666106

Cool, thanks! It's nice to remember how my Rick and Morty girls helped a lot in bringing attention to my work early on :)

Torrida Minis
>>133623720

That's fascinating, as it's a whole ecosystem I'm not familiar with. Thank you very much for your feedback!

Herdis Kind

I clicked other. Friend sent me to the patreon after showing some renders hoping I'd pick up a merchant license.

Simon
>>133628742

If Etsy isn't possible, I hope you find another platform where you can open your own official store. It would be great to order directly from you.

Simon

You should consider to post something about yourself, like a picture or tell something about your life. It would make your Patreon more personal.

Torrida Minis
>>133798313

I thought about it a few times before, but since I'm dealing with sensitive content here, and I also work with more regular models, I don't want to mix things here.
