It's just one of our silly fights again. But to be honest, I'm not buying Joe's bullshit theory that TV requires less energy than a light bulb. I might left the bathroom light on once a while, but he left a big TV screen on for hours and hours while playing clash of clans.

Same with my BF - and nobody ever wants to back down :)

I mean, he can just turn it off without telling me. I just don't understand why he has to make a big deal out of it Every Single Time.

Chris

Hey you guys are both wrong it's not right to waste the electricity but that's no biggie just pay attention to this

song

Thanks, Chris. But I was not doing it in purpose, it just happens when my head is at somewhere else.

Marc Guo

Actually, the power consumption for tv shroud around 120w and for a light might around 100 to 120w depends on the type of the light.

Me too, it has been a long time that I want to replace all our lights with LED. XD

Thank you for backing me up with facts. I knew he was bullshitting me.

Go through this fight every day. Husband NEVER turns the lights off and always turns on almost every light in the apartment. I wouldn't mention anything if it only happened once in a while, but it's every day!

Marc Guo

Just wondering, after the fight or argument, did you have the feeling that you did not make all the efforts during the event?

song

Thank you, Andi. There's no excuse, but I can understand your husband. This kind of thing usually happens when I have my mind somewhere else... when I think about the work or the grocery or something else... it's a careless act. But I don't want to hear about it every time that happens.

One of us usually leaves, cause both of us are pretty stubborn. But we always reconcile after the fight.

Danny Arbaugh

Oh no! I hope you guys are ok! Fights over silly things aren't good. 😕

song

Thank you, Danny. That happen on a weekly basis, especially when he's not in a good mood sometimes.

Edgar

It's hard to judge but joe definitely made a wrong point. Regularly, TV is more energy consuming. But I think you two all started with good purpose. So, hope you guys can reconcile soon.😽

Eric Closs

TVs consume way more energy than a light bulb. I've your response "SO" 🙂

song

Thank you, Edgar. It really shows that neither one of us is ecologist. XD XD

Eric Closs

I meant to say "I love your response "SO?" ,,,, also, hugs and kisses from Canada 😘🇨🇦😘🇨🇦😘🇨🇦😘🇨🇦😘

Miguel

Hahaha, it's time to punch joe's face by using your "make up power"😛

I have this discussion with my sister about our dad all the time. Our light bill one time was over 300 dollars in the damn summer time and I asked why was our light bill that damn high, coming to find out, our dad leaves the light on in the morning especially when he leaves for work and other bad habits too. Thankfully I'm going to be getting my own place with my babe soon, hopefully within the next few months. But hopefully my babe can make it to my graduation today from work

Gilles

I suggest you to visit www.mesampoulesgratuites.fr , they ll give you new leds for free to reduce electric bill :)

I wish I have wonder woman's lasso of truth to force Joe tell the truth. I don't believe he actually believes his own theory about power consumption. XD

song
>>5699684

Lol, now I seriously think about changing all our light bulbs to LED, cause I have been careless as well on those things. I hope he makes it as well, it's a big day for you. XD

song
>>5703318

Merci beaucoup, Gilles. I will definitely check it out. XD XD

song
>>5703318

Pourtant, je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils demandent mon numéro fiscal. XD

He did make it and swooped me off my feet. Now I just have a few more years of school before I earn my doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Grad school will kick my ass.

Yes it's a governmental grant partially based on incomes but almost everyone can get it or at a low price. And if I remember your drawing 26 you must be able to take a full box for free 😁

Andrew King

You could also installed sensor switch that turns on when there is someone in the room and turns off by itself.

Doug

This fight sounds VERY familiar.
