In this new short Demo, Lolo has more move sets, and the skeleton solider will attack you, be ready to fight.

Instead of putting out another boring tech demo to show you the progress I made with the game, I decide to turn it into a mini game. In this mini game, you have to defeat 10 skeleton soliders in order to go to the next scene. (Trust me, it's probably not as easy as it sounds.)

Of course, there're still many bugs, but at least it's getting better.

This version is for Windows only, I'll put out a Mac Version maybe tomorrow.

And it's strongly recommanded that you play it with an Xbox controller. So far, I haven't put the code in the game for Playstation controllers, cause I don't want the codes to get too complicated at the beginning. But if there're many of you use PS controllers, just let me know, and I will add in the next build.

For Xbox controllers, here's Lolo's moves list:

Use "LT" or "RT" to block enemy's attack.

Press X for light jab.

Press Y for heavy punch.

Push "UP" on the left stick to jump. (I haven't code the "down" function yet, for the moment, there's only jump and no crouch.)

While Jumping, press X or Y button will turn the jump into a kick.

Fire Soul:

left stick, Left - down - Right (/ Right - Down - Left) + X button.

If you have played Street Fighter, it's the same as Ryu or Ken's Fireball move.

 Ice Surge:

left stick, Left - down - Right (/ Right - Down - Left) + A button.

 Swirling Wind:

left stick, Left - down - Right (/ Right - Down - Left) + Y button.

The move I use the most often, since it'll project the enemy upward, thus block all air attacks.

Falling Lightning:

left stick, Left - down - Right (/ Right - Down - Left) + B button.

I didn't have enough time to make every magic attacks the way I wanted. But it's a matter of time, I'll surely add all more extra effects of the magic attacks in future builds.

Also, if you have any thoughts, please don't hesitate to tell me. At the moment, to be honest, I find it diffcult to defeat 10 skeleton soliders. Yeah, I know it's funny that I suck at my own game, but maybe I need to make the enemy less powerful. XD

I also add a gameplay video in the attachment for those who can't play. Little spoiler: I was bad at playing, I don't think I killed half of the skeletons. XD

Have a great day.

Sam A Milazzo

So they are actually called skeleton Soliders, not Soldiers?

song

They are skeletons, so I thought it was appropriate to call them skeleton soliders. XD
