I just tried it. It's possible to load the game demo .exe file (for windows) and play it on Steam Deck.

Here's how you do it, it's quite straight forward, actually:

Change your Steam Deck to Desktop Mode.

Use an USB C disk to ransfer the .exe file of the game demo (you can download the exe file in my last post) to your Steam Deck, put it on your desktop or another folder.

Open Steam.

Choose on the top menu "Game" - "Add a non steam game to my liberary" then "Browse", go to the location where you put your .exe file. Load it.

Go back to Game Mode. The game should be in your game liberary.

Before click on play, go to the game setting - "Propertie..." - "Compatiability" - select "Force the use of a specific steam pla compatiability tool" - choose "Proton Experimental".

It'll take a few seconds to install. Once the installation is done, now you can simply click on play and play the game.
