I'm not saying Joe is a penny pincher or anything, but he always wants us to buy cheap fruits of the season and sometimes he does have exagerrated reaction when I bought expensive food. XD

Frozen, dried, preserved or canned organic fruit is good. Just have to think of interesting recipes to work with them.
