Our camping trip started well but one and half hour after we played in the swimming pool, Joe found out my right eye became swollen. We soon drove to the pharmacy and got the medicine which was quite efficient. My eye went back to normal one hour after I took the medicine, so it was not a big deal. But still, it definitely gave me something to think about next time I decide to dive into a camping swimming pool. XD

Seriously. I might be allergic to the product they used in the swimming pool, but it might simply be a hygiene problem of the pool as well.

Amanda Lee

That's one cool looking pool though. Is covered like a glass house.

Fiyero109

definitely not an infection, since it showed up right after you swam, probably just an allergic reaction to the chlorine or other products :)

song

It was pretty cool, and it was covered and sheltered from the rainny day. We had fun playing ball until that incident happened to me.

Jan Paiva

I always get the same when I get into swimming pools with too much chlorine.

Jan Paiva

And you where so happy sharing the views on instagram.

song

Probably. While in the pool, my eyes just didn't feel right. It could be an allergic reaction.

Jan Paiva

I hope at least you've managed to enjoy it a bit too

song

Sorry that happened to you. It ruined the fun for me cause I like swimming and playing in water.

song

The walk in the nature is great though. The view was beautiful and I felt very close to nature, despite my sollen eye.

song

I did, but there're some down sides of this trip as well. for example... bugs... I hate bugs

Jan Paiva

You really sound like my husband. He hates bugs /mosquitoes too.

song

Yeah, I hate those blood suckers, it's a long story...

Jan Paiva

I loved when I was in Trébas, last year. I've managed to get us as cabin too. With airco and no bugs.

David Proby

I really hope next time I go camping with friends, we get cabins instead of tents. I just get impatient when trying to spend 30+ mins setting up a tent. Definitely getting a cabin for Jack and I, especially for some much needed alone time together. At least your eye was okay after an hour. I hate coming home with bug bites even with the bug spray on

song

wow, airco and no bugs?!!! I guess that's what people call glamping then, I'd love that.

song

yep, I would strongly suggest a good clean cabin in a good camping aera, cause we have been troubled by bugs the whole weekend. One of the reasons why I hate camping cause I can't stand bug bites.

Jan Paiva

Breakfast in the cabin then drive to Albi to workout and then the rest of the day swimming an eating at local restaurants using Google translate to be able to order food. It was definitely great vacations.

David Proby

Luckily for me who lives in Seattle and surrounded by multiple camp sites and areas, I know a few places that have good cabins and definitely packing more bug spray cans next time.

Danny Provencio

Ohh! Poor baby. Things happen. Put a huge nail up my foot walking the boardwalk on Fire Island Pines. Dr. Was right there. Fixed me up right away. Life still happens even on vacation. Hope the rest of your stay is smooth sailing. Enjoy you hunks. Woof!

Eric Closs

who was the hot guy in the pool with you and Joe? I would have risked an eye infection to splash around with him :-)

Michaelicious

Hahaha... At least u enjoy this time than the last time. Hehehehe...

song

Thank you, Danny. The next time, I would really love to stay in a clean place surrounded by nature and I would enjoy much more. XD

song

It's one of Joe's friends. Careful, health is much more important than guys. XD

song

Thank you. I'm still not a big fan of camping though. XD

Dylan Carroll

My boyfriend and I love your comics. We pretend they are depictions of us. You guys look pretty similar to us haha

Danny Provencio

You will. Just have to do more often. Bring a first aid kit. Not always a dr. Nearby. If you love nature this is what happens. My dad & mom love to bring us camping, fishing, hunting and boating. Had plenty of mishaps but I survived. My nephews have continued the tradition and flourished with my brothers and Boy Scouts. One nephew became a hero running for miles to get dr. For a friends broken leg.

Kathryn Gynn

Lovely comic! I’m glad you had somewhere nice to sleep, but sorry that your eye became sore. Hope the rest of the trip was more successful!

Justin Allen

Did you let the manager know about what happened? If it was a reaction to the chemicals (seems likely), them there's a chance it happened to someone else, too.

Justin Allen

Some would not refer to this as "camping" though, to me, it totally counts (I've heard it referred to as "Glamping"). I've done more of the tent kind and while it has its benefits, I'm too old and not physically up for that anymore. The cabin you stayed in this time is much more my speed nowadays.

Michaelicious

Hahahahah... Me too.. Not a big fan of camping hahahha... So did u both enjoy the night in cabin?
