Joe's nephew is here. The kid apparently doesn't understand that Internet wasn't invented when I was 9 years old. And his question just made me feel old.

Kids just don’t understand! I love this comic so much!

Jared Nichols

This is frighteningly, painfully relatable. 😂

Antolin Aler

Lol I am also watching my nephew (10 years old). Just love watching him play Xbox 1 Fortnight with my hubby. But yes hearing him as questions about the past makes me feel old :(

Amanda Lee

This is like my kid demanding her fav cartoon anytime anyday. She can't grasp that we used to wait for it to show on TV on a specific time and day.

Thank you very much, Kathryn. I wish I was born in his generation. XD

Thank you, Stephanie. XD

He also wanted to play Fortnite on my Playstation, and he was disappointed to find out I didn't have that game. XD

Thank you, Chris. I love Rick and Morty.

William Deutsch

This is too funny, but true 😂😂😂

These lucky kids. I wish I was born in their generation and had all the technology conveniences in daily life.

Thank you, William. XD

It's funny because my little cousins are starting to say the same things to me and I'm like 😰

Danny Provencio

Adorable. The part that is rare is to actually compose an e-mail like a letter. But there is something endearing about handwriting a thank you note. I write them all the time for jobs. The jobs are blown away when they get them because they are so rare. I usually get the job offer.

I feel a little sad for those that won't ever know a time before the internet. It gives us a sense of appreciation for what we have know, compared to our days offer "being poor" 😂 although j am grateful for the convenience we have today

I remember when I first became a "penpal", sending and receiving letters from all over the world (about a month later) and sometimes paying a terrible tax when some friend decided to send me a gift from abroad.

The kid reminds me of Tintin ❤️

dioniso10

I am happy to see you are better! Nice work

Richard Swieton

This comic is so cute and funny! Thank you for always making me laugh and smile. :D

David Proby

I just had a flash forward to 5 years when my stepson says something like this and I’m 8 years younger than my future hubby. Gotta love them darn kids sometimes

Wiliam Kibler

I still write thank you notes (handwritten and mailed) to the hosts of dinner parties I attend and for Christmas /birthday presents, too.

Brett Tizard

You made me smile. My friend tried to explain life before mobile phones to her daughter. She got that same look of disbelief 😀

Jin Huang

Hahahahaha, love this.

Michaelicious

Hahahah... Kids nowadays dunno what happened in 80's or 90's hahahaha

Jan Paiva

I face the same reactions when I talk about letters and typewriters with my nephews.

Veronica Relaford

Last week my four year old wanted peanut butter and donuts. We were out of both but have a pantry stocked with everything else. He wanted to know if we were poor!
