((Shameless tcg plug here)) if he is into it maybe take him to a hobby game store that allows for the patrons to play demos and such. Maybe even a trading card game like Magic the gathering or a more anime style like force of will. Those things will get him out to play in person at least. Or rather that's what works for me

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. But the problem with depression is that, he doesn't wanna go anywhere, he just declined every going out plan we had so he can be alone in his house in the country side. At this point, unless he made the first small move, we are not able to do anything for him. He has to get out of his shell first.

Hmm idk what to do then. He needs a job yes but he kinda needs to overcome his depression and what I assume to be social anxiety as well. I'm suggesting a lot of geeky places because I know as a fat guy myself geeks don't care if you're big or skinny they just come together to play games and have fun playing those games even if they lose. So unless you force him out to such a shop idk what to tell you.
