Joe's nephew never watched the original "The Lion King" movie, so we thought it would be nice to watch this movie together before the live action movie comes out.  I gotta say that I feel today's kids might not be as sensitive as we once were... I mean, he started to play Fortnite as soon as the movie finished, so...

My theory is that Disney wants to make more money, and it knows we will buy into it because of the Nostalgia. And the Lion King is one of the best animation movies!

I was impressed with the Jungle Book so fingers crossed it’s equally as good! As for today’s kids I fear they have many more modern influences in comparison to what we had as children! 😊

I’m definitely tearing up seeing Mufasa’s death again. Just hope they keep “I just can’t wait to be King” and “Hukuna Matata” because I’m going to make my mom laugh when seeing it on her birthday

Its a sad thing that kids don't see death as something too traumatic since you see it on the news whether its a war afflicted country, a mass shooting at school, church, etc or even just natural disasters reporting death tolls in its aftermath...kids are brave indeed.
