I was delusional to think that I can still fit into my favorite skinny jean that I haven't worn for years. 😢

It only means you have more muscle on your ass. Don’t be sad about it. It’s a good thing 😊

I feel the same way with a pair of pants I ripped when trying to squat after a year of lifting 100+ lb big dogs every day at work at the vet clinic. Luckily my man loves how strong I’ve been getting 😂😂

It’s been over a decade for me, I think you need more of a ‘workout’ with Joe, just saying 😏😏

I can totally relate: though I am considered a "bear" myself, I gained a few pounds during the 2nd lockdown and was quite unhappy about it (Yes, I had trouble closing my old jeans, too - which has never happened before). In that situation, it is _definitely_ not helping when people tell you "but you look sexy with a few extra pounds" or "but dadbods are so hot!" Long story short: my old jeans fit me again, it was the kick in the a.. I needed to literally "get moving" and I am more at peace withmyself again (though I am still bear-ish, no worries ;-) I guess the moral of the story is: do what _you_ think is best for you, do what makes _you_ happy. Want to fit in your old skinnies again? Go for it, you can do it!

This is happening to me to. They warned me about this… and I thought I was going to be young, slim, and beautiful forever. I feel you, Lolo… I really do.

"Skinny Jeans, George?" "That was a private conversation ..." (Being Human, UK) Glad Joe was trying to be comforting and supportive.

Marcus

Omg the struggle is real too. Gotta get fit again!
