My dog would do that but it's because he wanted to go to the bathroom. Good dog, not making a mess. You, on the other hand, are dealing with a cat so who knows.

When I open my eyes in the morning I see my chihuahua mix (the one with the biggest eyes) right up in my face. Big, two coloured eyes and happy snorts that I'm awake. It's cute, but a cat staring at me in the middle of the night would be kind of creepy!!

Yes! Cats have similar motives in hopes you will wake and let them outside or provide food. Although my cats also make attempts to wake me by head butting my chin, and if that fails, using my pillow as a trampoline.

My cats use to do that to make sure your alive so they get there food and still hate you later. Lol there’s always a hidden agenda with cats. 😂
