The hotel Lloyd and Harry stayed at is the same hotel in The Shining. Jim Carrey is Canadian and he actually had a chipped tooth prior to accepting this role.

Lol, there is no carpet in their apartment. When Harry drops the bottle cap it hits a concrete floor. Also, Lloyd probably just saw "Aspen" and didn't even pay attention to the Colorado part. He is dumb after all.

At 43:31 Harry said that she gave him a "John Deere" letter. Back in the day, when you were going to break up with your girlfriend/boyfriend you would write them a "breakup" letter. Since the name "John" is a common name, the letter would start, "Dear John"... So if you got a "Dear John" letter, it basically meant that she was gonna break up with you. This idiot Harry got it backwards though and said that she sent him a "John Deere" letter. 🤣🤣🤣 And yes, John Deere is a tractor company. Most people today miss this reference.
