HOTFUZZ FULL REACTION

Comments

Scott Asher

Should have done Shaun of the Dead first, but this is great!

Hunter Sanschargrin

Hey Mr. Lboyd I am having some trouble watching the video.

Mister_Bleak

OMG! I love this one!! should be a treat to watch.

Matthew Truesdell

When you get a moment, I am also having problems with the video. Thank you.

Flash Robins

I too am having issues watching the video.

itsRichErich

We gotta get the "American Pie" series. Perfect comedy movies to go along with these but better.

Flora Smith

Anyone having problems loading the video, try opening Patreon in a browser

redhawk

This is part 2 of the "Cornetto trilogy." Simon Pegg and Nick Frost star in all three, and they're directed by Edgar Wright. Their first movie is Shaun of The Dead, and the third is The World's End...There is a second Game of Thrones actor in this one, but he looks very different. Michael (Lurch) is The Hound in GoT.

slimsycentaur37

It's not a sequel to those saying it's a trilogy. It's a trilogy because its three films made by the same director and actors with somewhat common aspects but they're completely standalone movies that can be watched on their own or not at all. The other two are underwhelming

Dubbelgamer

I’m not able to watch the video

Mister_Bleak

AAAnd i watched it. This didn't disappoint. I was surprised i how quickly you sussed things out. Also, when this movie first got released, i remember my friends and I picked up "yarp" and "narp" as common responses. Wonderful choice to react to. I wish they had done a part 2 as well.

Chris Robson

Love to see The Hound before he was the hound!

SLEEPY_KING

So I'm not the only one with a problem with this video loading?

Ben L

Not working Mr. LBoyd

Mrmystro123

I can’t watch the movie in the app, I have to load the browsers which makes airplay a bit sensitive

Triforce of Shadows

Wow, what a treat of a surprise. One of my all time favorite dark comedies, so rewatchable.

Madmanmarz1981

First things first , Outstanding Reaction Sir!! Thank you so much for this unexpected fave!! Big Edgar Wright fan here. As others have commented , Shaun Of The Dead , and The Worlds End are parts 1 and 3 of the "Cornetto Trilogy" . And , judging by your reaction , I am sure you will be watching them. Him , Neil Marshall , and Guy Richie all have a "similar" style that I can see you enjoy.(IMO) I have but one Edgar Wright request.. Baby Driver. PLEASE!! Top 5 Heist Movies IMO. All real car stunts/driving , (little to no CG) , the music is killer , and I think you will be impressed how it is used in the film. And a stellar cast as well. I know there are others that would LOVE to see it Sir. As always , Thank you Sir. Peace

Vendetta for V

There's also the movie "Paul" which I think is pretty good.

D Montano

Great film choice.

EndlessRiver

I'm surprised you didn't catch the whole beginning when Danny is going "Have you ever been in a car chase" and the 21 questions that are included as foreshadowing lol.

TAN

One of the best movies ever made

Michal Kubán

I have not seen this for so long, that I have forgotten who was the murderer :D Great rewatch.

Jessi

This one was the "action comedy" in the trilogy. The first one was horror/comedy and the last one was apocolyptic/comedy. Shaun of the Dead was my favorite of the 3, but this is an extremely close second. Loved it! And yes, Wright's transitions are legendary level good!

gak9319

The detective with the foam mustache is Paddy Considine, King Viserys in HOTD😄

gak9319

The strange guy working at the supermarket, Michael. That's Rory McCann, The Hound in Game of Thrones😁

gak9319

A lot of good actors in this😃 The guy who owns the supermarket is Timothy Dalton, he was James Bond in the 80s🙂

Twiska Brand

It's not working for me either.

David Melo

Great director, he has many great films, another one of his that i recommend is called "Baby Driver" it really showcases his attention to detail and great editing

Denise Mattsen

Is that the Hound? Trolley cart dude who said yarp.

Denise Mattsen

Oh my gosh, just looked it up and he is!

Scott Asher

Diving into the room in slow motion while firing two guns is from Bad Boys 2. Not shooting the suspect, then rolling on his back and firing into the air is from Point Break.

ViperBreeze

One of my all time favorites.

MRLBOYD

If that doesn't work, DM me

Mrmystro123

Updated still doesn’t work on the app, I don’t know how to dm sorry

JM

Video isn't working for me 😕

Lucas Roberts

I was able to copy the link and paste it in a browser, and that worked.

Matthew Langley

This movie has always been a classic. You HAVE TO WATCH Shaun of the Dead. This movie is essentially the spiritual sequel to that one. Made earlier with the same two main two actors playing friends again (different characters though). Very similar humor but a bit less amped. Similar in that it's a comedy and a spoof but also somewhat serious with it's own plot line. Though instead of being a spoof of a cop movie it's a zombie movie. That one is even better IMHO. Also Lurch is the same actor who played the Hound in GoT. Let that one wrinkle your brain a bit.

Rana

Shaun of the dead is one of my absolute favorites!

Denise Mattsen

Also Martin Freeman who plays Agent Ross in Black Panther plays the first police officer who tells him he is moving to Sandford.

dawn

am i the only one who skips to the end to see if he has anything good to say about the movie before i decide on watching it?

Mark B

Video not working for me big homie

DamianPapi

Also PAUL, my favorite from them two

Lisa Borth

You definitely have to watch Shaun of the Dead, and The World's End.

Ben L

Mr. L Boyd, thank you for being an attentive entertainer/reactor. When are we gonna wrap up Marvel movies?

Anabel Gonzalez

I cannot open the video from the app either 😣

Mr. Lamb

The dissertation I could make on this movie. The humor, the dialog, the constant callbacks and foreshadowing, the twist that's not a twist. This movie is a screenwriter's dream. I can't gush about it enough.

Tygorgon

I know others have said it already but I will again highly recommend watching Shaun of The Dead sometime as a follow up to this. Great work as always!

Derek Leach

Video isn’t working :(

Rhad

Yes = Yarp is one of the most amazing setups in film for the No moment.

Rhad

This is the best movie about HOAs

Rich Moyse

Video isn’t working 🫣

Dasypodidae

If you wanna see another very good filmed action-comedy I can recommend snatch (2000). Excellent movie.

Teth

I have such a soft spot for this movie. Partially because I love British country murder mysteries, and partially because I remember my sister trying to explain that particular Point Break scene to me when I was little. 😂

Jeremy V.

This looks to be a dead link. Can it be retrieved? Would like to have seen this.

Tommy Spacey

Is there no way to watch the video?
