I am confused? Was this recorded before your reaction to No Way Home and if so why was this released halfway through your No Way Home reaction?

MRLBOYD

I started no way home, before I did this movie. Many people told me to stop because I missed the amazing Spider-Man’s < I’m going to do those then complete no way home.

Soul Fist

Finally, I'm so glad you didn't skip these

Soul Fist

No they did not know they were going to create a cinematic multiverse. But marvel sold all their rights in the 90s and got em back in the late 2010s. When they got rights back, so many movie studios made so many marvel movies that they accidentally created a multiverse. So marvel took advantage that.

Denise Mattsen

My personal opinion is that they didn't know they were going to do any multiverse type things in the future. I think this was more of a reboot at the time, but I could be totally off base here. So yeah, just lazy, but are we really surprised by that? It is modern day Marvel/Disney after all lol! I've said it before (on your YouTube video about Snow White), if they eff up Andor I will be PISSED!

Denise Mattsen

Keep on talking my guy! If I didn't want to hear you talking and get your take I wouldn't be here. I would just be watching the movie itself.

gak9319

I don't mind you talking, i kinda thought that was the whole point. Otherwise i would just watch the movie😅 It's nice you pause when you start talking a lot though. It infuriates me when reactors talk over what they're supposed to be reacting to.

Denise Mattsen

Gwen Stacy is played by Emma Stone. Not sure if you've seen any of her movies though. At least I don't recall you watching anything on here with her in it, but of course, I could be wrong.

Denise Mattsen

Well shut my mouth! You have seen her in a move before. I forgot she was in Super Bad and Zombieland.

Twiska Brand

Oh, yeah that makes sense. When the NWH reaction dropped I just assumed you had already seen the Amazing Spider Man movies off screen. So I was surprised when this went up and just assumed the editing on this one took to long or something. But that makes sense. Are you going to start NWH from the beginning when you get around to continuing the reaction or just resume from where you left off?

gak9319

Sony made the movie, so yeah pretty big sponsor. They own the rights to Spider-Man. They just lease the characters to the company they bought them from, Marvel.

Gregory Sambrano

Sony owns Spider-Man so it’s just self promotion

Soul Fist

i hope he rewatches from the beginning. just give a disclaimer that her already seen the first hour.

Denise Mattsen

Don't forget Amazing Spiderman 2. Unless I missed what you meant about the second part and you're not referring to the second half of No Way Home.

Dasypodidae

He's often done movies in 2 parts. So I'm pretty sure he'll just continue were he left off and then merge the 2 files, like he always does.

dawn

my favorite version of spiderman. and im sure you didnt know this but gwen and spiderman in this movie were dating in real life which is why they have really good chemistry.

dawn

hes doing amazing spiderman 2 before monday and finishing no way home on monday. so we get to finish it within the next 6 days thankfully

Denise Mattsen

Awesome. Thanks for clarifying that for me. 😃

Keith Allen

I don't have a problem with you talking. I learn a lot from your reactions. The only complaint I would have is your voice audio is much louder than the movie audio. When I turn up the volume to hear the movie, I am blown out of my chair when you talk lol

JM

My favorite Pete! If you ever make it to the animated films, Across the Spider-Verse to be exact, they actually touch on the constant that you mentioned.

Shawn Leaf

So, dint had to put it a be Spiderman movie every so many years or the rights go back to marvel so if the old franchise wasn't ready to fill, they rebooted it.. there was a little more to it, but that's the strongest reason why

Madmanmarz1981

And thus all the Spider-Man Fans REOICED!! Gonna listen to The Ramones cover of the Spider-Man cartoon!!: ]

HeadShot223

I've noticed in some of your recent reactions the movies appear very dark. In your Spiderman: No Way Home reaction, when all the bad guys get portaled by Dr. Strange and Strange tells peter what happened with the multiverse stuff, you can't see a single thing. I noticed it a few times in this one as well were in the darker scenes you just can't make any details out. Its obvious that's not intended with the an example i can give of at the end of this movie, when Peter tells Flash "nice shirt" it just appears as a solid color shirt, when I imagine there is a spiderman logo supposed to be there. If this is something you could look into, that would be great! Love your reactions!

Madmanmarz1981

Hot Fuckin Damn! Been waiting for this one Sir. Been a minute since I have seen Amazing 1&2 , so way looking forward to em. And , judging by the comments , I am one of many. I have always felt a bit bad for Garfield , as I think the studio really fucked him. But that's just MO. Ok , Checklist Time ! Fatty rolled and ready - Check - Beer still freezer cold from Vikings - Check - Smokes and Zippo - Check!! So load up your web shooters , mask up , and lets do this!!! Peace

Shawn Leaf

In the comics, it's been said over and over again, that Uncle Ben's death is the most important fixed point in the multiverse

Michal Kubán

I've seen it only once in cinema. As a person, who grew up on 90s animated Spider-Man series, hats off! It was truly amazing (pun intended).

Madmanmarz1981

Annnd we're done!! Fantastic Reaction!! A Total Banger Sir! I always love it when you get that "8 year old's " look in your eye when you just get so into the film!! I had forgotten how dark this film's story was by comparison to the others. As well as how many cool Spidey Comic Action scenes there were. (Web slingin fun!) Super excited for next drops as well! And you get another Dr. Strange film after No Way Home!! Until next time , Peace

Soul Fist

I look forward to your post as much as the reactions lol

Scott Asher

1:18:30 MrL is such a film nerd that he paused it on a 3+ second kiss to investigate the camerawork

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

Marvel Comics has been doing multiverse since the 1960s as a way to put new life into stories that have had long runs. Spiderman specifically has countless iterations. So when we get multiverse type stuff in Marvel, it shouldn't be seen as nearly lazy or cheap as other movies / franchises. It has always been an integral part of marvel comics and just so happens to make it easier for them to redo movies.
