Vulgata-Sam

this should be interesting

Madmanmarz1981

Fuck Yeah!!! Time for more Dr. Strange!! Damn I have been waiting for this one! I really think your gonna dig the hell outta this one Sir. There are some on here that think you may be confused by missing Wandavision. I can understand that pov. But I honestly believe you'll more or less figure it out. But I can no longer wait to see , so Checklist Time - 2 Fatties rolled and ready - Check - Beer freezer cold - Check - Smokes and Zippo - Check ; ] So grab your Sling Ring , trim that goatee , and let's get into some Madness!! Peace " I'll do my best..." "Your best? Looser's always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the Prom Queen."

dawn

just curious bro have you been trying out lower bitrate or different frame rate? idk if its just me but your last 3 marvel movies seem to be very framy esp in the fast scenes. like a little slow stutter i dont think its just me.

dawn

i dont have a problem watching it this way cuz its free for me. but i was just curious

Bringo

You didn't watch WandaVision, did you?

John Dodo

It’s a pride pin on her jacket. Disney still being Disney. And they possibly got cheap on the textures because marvel started bombing in the box office by this time.

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

So this was the first time an X-Men character appeared in Disney MCU after they bought the rest of the rights of the characters during the 21st Century Fox acquisition in 2019. (Except Spiderman characters which still belong to Sony) Fantastic Four is a massive marvel franchise that was also part of this acquisition. There is a new movie "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" coming out in July. We saw Cap actor Chris Evans as Johnny Storm in Deadpool & Wolverine. He played Human torch in the 2005 Fantastic Four movie. The office actor has always been fan cast as Reed Richards so this is Marvel giving fan service in the casting which was cool. Capt Carter was from the What If series where Steve Rodgers is shot and disabled prior to taking the super soldier serum so Peggy Carter takes it instead

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

Really do wish you watched Wandavision. Although, after episode 1 or 2, I think you might have quit watching. So maybe just a synopsis, would've been good. Because it's very strange and confusing the first 3 episodes but unique concept. It is good and provides much more insight to Wanda's mental state in this movie. (Although you would probably still feel the same way). They did a decent job getting the gist of what happened but not much of how or why it happened.

Vulgata-Sam

dang we missed out on Pizza Poppa ending "Pizza Poppa always gets paid!"

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

In the comics (any non-Disney depiction, really) Scarlet Witch is the daughter of Magneto, so here it's crazy to see Wanda killing her fathers best friend and nemesis. She was also always insanely powerful, referred to as a "Nexus Being", it's not just a Disney "rah rah rah go women" type of moment. This is why they made her "end" herself. She's too powerful to beat. She's basically Jean Gray with physical magic and the ability rewrite reality. A lot of the ultra powerful characters are not able to be depicted to their full ability in live action because it doesn't transfer or make for proper storytelling when one character can destroy planets. They did a great job with Thanos but they built him up for years

dawn

didnt even realize that the first time i watched. the 2 dudes immediately die and get no hits in. then the 2 women put up a prolonged fight and dont just insta die. they really like that female power shit huh lol

JM

The trailer after No Way Home had me hyped to see this. I was so disappointed after walking out the theater. There's some cool moments, I specifically like the horror element that Sam Raimi added, but the execution fell flat. The Disney+ shows play a part for some of the characters -- Captain Carter and zombie/Evil Strange from What If, and Wanda's "heel" turn plus her kids from WandaVision. The Illuminati is taken straight from, and is much cooler in, the comics. Thor 4 is terrible, BP2 is the best of the bad movies solely because of the visuals, Antman 3 is bad and isn't as important since a certain someone got in trouble, Cap America 4 sucks, and The Marvels is Cap Marvel to the extreme. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Thunderbolts* are the only remaining movies worth watching.

dawn

didnt know sam raimi had a part in this but i did also like the horror aspect too. agree with everything but i dont really get too into the characters or stories, i just like action and nice looking scenes. so i like thor but never really got into ant man or captain marvel. yea i think theres like no more movies worth even watching though.

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

He already did Deadpool & Wolverine actually. Sam Raimi originally wanted to make this movie an actual horror movie but they made him tone it down.

Madmanmarz1981

Annnd we're done!! Another Banger man!! I do agree that the DIE shit was getting worse by this one , but I do love me a Sam Raimi flick. Oh , and the Pizza vendor was Bruce Campbell. He is best known for Raimi's Evil Dead films , and other assorted B Movies. And he plays Elvis in my Bubba Ho-Tep request. And he usually has a cameo in all of Raimi's movies as well.

Joel

The Show "Loki" is good. This one.... hmm, was not that great. You know what? I say it. DEI is ruining everything, at least for me.

Joel

Still great reaction sir. It is not your fault, that the Marvel content is falling off like this. Thank you for your honesty.

Dasypodidae

Does anyone know why Mr. Boyd keeps skipping Eternals? I hope he will at least have watched it before watching Captain America: Brave New World.

Madmanmarz1981

Annnd we're done!! Another Banger Sir!! And yeah , it's a DEI nightmare in places. (But Capt. Carter is bad ass , and smokin hot; ]) Oh , and the Pizza vendor was Bruce Campbell. He's most known for Raimi's Evil Dead series , and various other fun B Movies. (He plays Elvis in my request for Bubba Ho-Tep) As to what other MCU stuff to watch I wouldnt really go any farther. What If? Season 1 is bad ass though. As always , I thanks you for your time and effort and to share your insight Sir. Be back for tomorrows drop!!! Peace

John Dodo

Well if you don’t count their cameo in Deadpool 2 you are correct

John Dodo

Bruce Campbell also played cameos in all three of the Toby McGuire Spider-Man movies. He was the wrestling announcer in the first movie. In the second movie he was the usher that denied admittance and in the third he was the maitre d.

John Dodo

If interested there is a film that shows a super being (Superman) in a what if scenario that shows what would happen if a super powerful being was evil instead of good. It’s called bright burn.

Shpadoinkel

Bubba Ho-Tep is pretty good. Has he watched it yet?

Denise Mattsen

Hesitant about this comment, but throwing it out there anyway. I have said it before that I am not a fan of the in your face girl power trope, but imo it seems like some people who hate something so much (in this case DEI, but in some cases racism as well), will find it even if it's not there. Gay people... DEI. A woman more powerful than a man (who is the villain of this story, who was first introduced in the comics in the 60s btw).... DEI. A man that isn't infallible.... DEI. Screaming DEI about everything is a part of the problem just like screaming racism about everything is a part of the problem.

Madmanmarz1981

A bad ass film! One of my favorites. And it's just under 90 min : ]

Madmanmarz1981

Not as far as I know. I requested it a couple days ago. It would be right up his alley : ]

Madmanmarz1981

Agree on the MCU , except GOTG 3. I would love to see him react to Darkman , Chronical , and Brightburn though. (Oh , and Sky High as well): ]

gak9319

I still suggest you move on from Marvel, it's a mess at this point. You have to watch 40+ hours of at best mediocre television, to understand half of what's going on in the movies you have left. Just an opinion of course. It's fine to like the MCU still. But i don't.

dawn

I mean the scene was an absolute joke lol. She's more powerful than the men and the women there. She could have absolutely annihilated all 4 of them in a single instance instead of letting the 2 women get some hits in and weakening her conjured doppelganger. It's just funny lol

Soul Fist

To answer your question at about 1:09:00... no you did not miss a movie, you just lack a general understanding about marvel characters and lore. I say that with no disrespect, I understand you were not exposed to this universe for the majority of your life. But these movies have gotten to the point where they heavily rely on the audience already understanding what is happening or what can happen. That's the can of worms they opened with introducing the multiverse. On one hand for people like myself they don't have to waste time explaining who characters are... but on the other hand people like you are left confused. There's really nothing you can do about this going forward. You're just going to be lost sometimes.

Scott Asher

This is where I leave you on the Marvel Journey. I don't want to watch 3 years of mid TV shows so you can understand a few references in a couple bad movies. Its only Mondays though, so not a huge deal.

MRLBOYD

I'm not doing the shows. I'm watching a couple more Marvel movies and we'll be done with Marvel. I'll go back to just watch regular movies

Scott Asher

I'm glad you started these Marvel reactions. I hadn't seen most of the movies and I had misjudged them -- I liked them all until they got silly. I understand why you need to finish.

itsRichErich

I'm ready for you to check out some DC films tbh like the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy starting with "Batman begins". I think we can stop with Marvel films except for guardians of the galaxy 3(great movie). But "Man of steel" is a really good DC modern superman movie that I would love to see you react to.

Vulgata-Sam

ya i think loki was the best one out of the last bunch

Madmanmarz1981

I agree , to a point. Nolan's Batman Trilogy , Man Of Steel , and the 1st Wonder Woman , all day long. But as a whole , I would rather see him do the DCAU from Flashpoint Paradox on. DC has beaten Marvel in animated since Batman The Animated Series. And The Dark Knight Returns is as close to perfection as I think it gets. Just my opinion: ]

itsRichErich

All facts, I think we can all agree on that. Everything you named are bangers. Marvel dominated the majority of the live action world for a long time but when it comes to animation, DC has always been king. .

Dasypodidae

Which Marvel movies are you planning to watch? I think you would enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy 3 the most. Maybe it's a good idea to put all remaining marvel movies in a multiple selection poll. And that people can vote for all the Marvel movies they would like to see you react to. And that you then watch the top 2 or 3.

Michal Kubán

13:35 I was almost about to scold you about calling an octopus a "spider thing", but then I remembered the "octupus is just a wet spider" meme. Not sure if intentional, but funny either way :D

Tygorgon

James Gunn did it too!

yuri12344

Definitely would love to see him do the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy~

LumpyGrits

It’s obvious that she is overly emotional because she can’t figure out just where tf her accent went. 😂😂😂

Soul Fist

Guardians 3 is a must... everything else? Well... let's just not lol

Mister_Bleak

man you're really missing some info by not having watched the series that came before this film. But i warned ya about it in the film preceding this one.

Shawn Leaf

In the comics she literally got rid of everyone with a few words. She spoke no more mutants, and all of the mutants ceased to exist. Oh and she's Magneto's daughter in the comics
