This is one of the saddest movies I have watched

never watched the movie but back in like early 2010-2012 every highschool was playing this movie in history class. only reason i know the name. so yea i guess this movie is pretty much a historical one. havent seen any trailers or descriptions yet

Yeah, i agree. A scared 8 year old with a grown man of authority screaming in his face, it is hard to stand up to that as a child.

The book came out in 2006 (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne). The movie came out in 2008 and was based on the book. It's a fictional book that takes place during the Holocaust but is not based on any specific person or event.

The Zone of Interest is an even sadder and more terrifying film because it places the audience entirely on “the garden” side of the wall and reveals the camp only through screams and gunshots.
