Meadow put it together, she decided not to say anything. I assume Meadow also suspects her father is not exactly faithful, considering the culture of the mafia. Maybe she felt she shouldn't take sides. Personally i think Tony and Carmela deserve each other.

Susan B

As a woman, once unhappily married, I feel so sad for Carmela in this season and especially this episode. She sees life passing her by, her daughter on the brink of love and adventure and a life filled with possibilities, while Carmela is fully aware that Tony is out whoring every night and that his occasional gifts are a way to assuage his own guilt. He treats Carmela like a favorite old chair, comfortable but certainly not interesting. I don’t know if she would ever have had sex with Furio (even in her fantasy of him last episode, they were only dancing) but Furio made her feel like a desired and cherished woman even as she approaches menopause. Now that he’s gone, she is envious of her daughter.

What is it exactly that you think Meadow should tell Tony about her mother? “She was attracted to Furio and is terribly sad that he’s out of her life, because he gave her a glimpse of what life might be like with a man who thinks she’s someone special. You, dad, never suspected that your wife might look at another man, because while you’ve been having serial affairs with strippers, cocktail waitresses, two Russian cousins, an artists’ rep and a mentally disturbed car saleswoman who killed herself after you had one of your henchmen threaten to kill her, you assumed that your wife was happy at home cooking dinner and doing housewife stuff.” That?

Annnd were done!! I knew you would dig this episode Sir!! Great reaction again : ] First watch I was kinda meh about the Carmela and Furio thing , but after many a re-watch, I actually like what it does for the character development for the season. Kind of a slow burnish thing. The helicopter part still grabs me every time though!! Ok , so I have a Fun Fact about the season finale , and a request for the episode. First , the Fun - At 75 minutes, this is the show's longest episode. Now the request. Mr. LBoyd , and Sopranos fans , stand with me , please when you watch the next episode , wait till the song at the end, is over before you hit stop please. Big Rat Pack fan here(Dino was always super smooth and cool) and that song is a Dean Martin Classic. Thanks very much to all: ] Can't wait ta see what movies we get this weekend! Peace " Yeah, well you probably shouldn't flash cheese like that around here, bro. There are three types of people who as you say, flash cheese: people who don't know any better, people who are seeking to intimidate, and people like me who wish with every fiber of their being that someone would try and take it from them."

Andy Dufresne Request Time Again!! "This time I'll write two letters a week." :] So this is a Re-Request - Sinners - 2025 - Directed by - Ryan Coogler - Staring Michael B Jordan - Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. I know I am not the only one that wants ta see this one Sir. The best film I have seen so far this year across all genres. There is nothing bad I can honestly say about this film without nit picking. And even that is tough. The acting , FX , music , directing , and Cinematography are all top notch. And not only was it shot on film , it was shot using both 65mm film (5-perf) and IMAX 70mm film (15-perf). This makes Sinners the first movie to be simultaneously shot on Ultra Panavision 70 and IMAX. I know you will be amazed by this film Sir. Thank you for considering this one. Peace

Sinners is the best film I’ve seen in at least a couple of years. Michael B Jordan needs two Oscars - one for each of the twins.

Carm and AJ both thinking “the gay thing” is a recent invention. 😎

These actors, though. Especially when Tony is being hateful, it’s impossible to hate him because Gandalfini brings such vulnerability to the role. Producer David Chase said in his eulogy, “The paradox of you as a man is that I always thought I was seeing a young boy.” RIP, such a beautiful sad soul.

Thank you. I’m old and have too much time to obsess over this stuff.

Aside from Tony , my favorite role of his was in True Romance. Every time I re-watch it , makes me think of "Street level enforcer " Tony. lol And from all I have read over the years , Yes he was a wonderful talent , and a very sweet and giving man. R.I.P.
