Madmanmarz1981

Hot Damn , it's time!! Tonight's Episode - The Blue Comet This is in my Top 10 Favorite Episodes of the entire show. It has a bit of all the best things about the series all in 1 episode. I still remember being on the edge of my seat for the whole episode: ] And I hope you feel the same Sir. Ok, Checklist Time - Fatty rolled and ready - Check - Eatables eaten and working - Check - Smokes and Zippo - Check. Ok folks , strap in the 5 point harness , put your tray table up , and your seat back in the full upright position and lets go back ta Jersey!!! Peace

Madmanmarz1981

Annnd we're done! Fabulous Reaction Sir!! Seeing you get caught up in the tension was great: ] The scene in the Hobby store is one of the best in the series IMO. As to your question of spin offs , kinda , sorta. There is a prequel film called The Many Saints Of Newark. It's in the 60's and 70's and has alot to do with Christopher's Father Dickie who was an influence on teenage Tony. Gandolfini's son Michael plays young Tony. I only saw it once when it came out(2021) and never got around to rewatching it. Some liked it , many did not. It would be cool to see again if you do watch it. However , what I , and others I am sure would recommend watching the week after the finale is Wise Guy: David Chase and the Sopranos. It's a 2024 documentary on the entire series from the pilot to the end. Interviews with cast , crew , writers , directors and David Chase himself. It's amazing to watch if your a fan of the show. And the prequel is not mentioned at all , so no spoiler's; ] I am very much looking forward to next weeks finale : ] I hope you take some extra time at the end for your thoughts on the ending and the series as a whole. Thanks again for a great reaction Sir: ] Peace

Paulie actor Tony Scirrolo (sp?) was a real life mobster during the Colombo family wars.

The level of detail in the Bobby shooting scene: even the tiny toy people had expressions of horror, a hand over a face, etc. RIP Bobby, who was the closest thing to a good person in Tony’s mob.

Obviously we're almost done with The Sopranos (and maybe Vikings and Dexter?, haven't followed them as closely). Just another "on my knees begging" plea to start The Wire some point soon. I'm kind of amazed this show hasn't been done yet on this channel. Who's with me?

He needs to watch the newer seasons coming out , fallout s2 the boys s5. House of the dragon starts at June 21st also

Recommended: the two-part HBO documentary “Wise Guy: David Chase and the Sopranos” that came out on the 25th anniversary; and for hilarity, “Lilyhammer,” starring Silvio actor Steven Van Zandt in what a lot of fans believe is Silvio’s coma dream. Lilyhammer was the first made-for-Netflix series and is pure glee for fans of The Sopranos.

I also requested Wise Guy: ] And Lilyhammer has my vote the moment its up: ] Peace

That train set was gorgeous. I’m sorry Bobby didn’t get to enjoy his Blue Comet.

110% I love the was the scene was shot , etc , but it breaks my heart every time. Until after the fight on Tony's B-Day , he never even "made his bones". And he never had a side piece. Good ol Bobby: [ Peace

The documentary is excellent. So much insight into the lives of creators and actors who suddenly find themselves involved in something globally famous.

I’m not sure it was in the documentary or a random interview with Carmela actress Edie Falco, but she said she had never watched the series. She and Aida Turturro (Janice) are good friends and got through four episodes together, but found it too heartbreaking “because we had lost Jimmy.” I think he died less than two years after the series wrapped. 😢 Maybe that loss is one of the reasons fans rewatch this show obsessively. We loved him, even when we couldn’t love Tony.

Truth. Bobby would have been happy owning the Hobby Store or selling sporting goods and never harming anybody. He didn’t seek power. He didn’t cheat on his wife. He liked being Junior’s caregiver far more than he liked being “made.”

And Bobby, who had to see the face of his own innocent murder victim, sees his killer’s face as he enjoys a place that represents innocence. A toy store.

Lorraine Braco (Dr. Melfi) was upset with the abrupt way her character ended Tony’s therapy. She didn’t think it was true to her character.

Please Mr B, start the finale with the full music intro. The song is practically a character in the show! 💕

Personally I’d add a little spice to the self defense señoreo of being choked like you described in a car. A nice Walther PDP with some 124g hp’s aimed directly back and under the armpit would also Ameliorate the situation.
